Think twice about coming here, as they are very disorganized and not professional. Getting into the building was a fiasco as they don’t answer the intercom that is specifically labeled «after 6pm for Meadowlands consumer center press here». I had to wait until someone left the building to get in. Their waiting room is smaller than a Manhattan apartment, yet they crammed over 20 people in there. Selective in their ID check-​in process, and full of complaining. they even said they didn’t have enough money to pay everyone! Thank God I wasn’t one of those left in the lurch.

This is a really low rent operation. I was called and asked a million questions before I qualified to participate in a paid focus group that was to occur two days later. After spending a lot of time answering, I received a voicemail the next day again asking me to call back and confirm my appointment. The message also said they had important information for me and I had also been told I’d receive a detailed email confirmation about the site and the appointment. Although I called back as requested, I couldn’t get a hold of anyone and left a message. I never got a response whatsoever –no promised email, no courtesy return call with this so-​called important information.
The place is an almost invisible office in a giant building within an even bigger office park which is under major construction. You will get stuck in traffic, not find a parking spot, and barely find the office. I called them to indicate I was nearby and running late. I was told, «That’s ok.» I arrived 10 min late and was promptly turned around and told I was too late. No one fessed up to flaking out on instructions or directions nor to telling me I was still fine to show up.
Add insult to injury, I was bizarrely stared at as I used the restroom and left the building. I mean she actually sat there and glared at me as I exited the restroom, walked down the long length of the hall, to the front doors, and out of the building. What is that about?
Whatever they pay you isn’t worth it because you will waste too much time, gas, energy, and effort just getting there. I lost money trying to work with them. Stay away from this business. They’re not worth your time. Is that the crowd sourced opinion you’re looking for, Meadowlands Consumer Center?
