MAC Paper Supply took its name from its point of origin in McPherson, Kansas, affectionately referred to as MAC by many ‘locals.’ The company was incorporated in the State of Kansas in 1980.

MAC Paper Supply took its name from its point of origin in McPherson, Kansas, affectionately referred to as MAC by many ‘locals.’ The company was incorporated in the State of Kansas in 1980. In 1987, MAC Paper Supply relocated to the town of Sedgwick just 50 miles away, choosing to retain the original company name. Following the suggestion of an associate, the name «MAC» was defined as «Mid America’s Choice.» This became our slogan in 1997; however the company still retains the original name of MAC Paper Supply, Inc. MAC celebrates its 34^th anniversary in 2014. We invite you to be a part of our continuing growth as we move forward.

Celia attended St. John’s College, Winfield KS in 1967 – 68 with coursework in accounting, psychology & sociology. She spent 11 years as Administrative Assistant/​Director of Personnel at a KS facility serving disabled adults. During that time she handled personnel/​records, fund raising and development, administrative matters, transition/​training related to the entry of PC’s in the workplace. It took her all of one day to decide that she no longer needed or wanted her electric typewriter!

Her interest in entrepreneurship grew while working at Junior Achievement in Wichita KS. In 1991, the chance to acquire and grow MAC Paper Supply came at an ideal time in her life. She drew on past experience to grow the company’s service area from KS throughout the entire U.S. via internet before most of her competitors found their way online. She now handles Customer Care primarily online and via phone, IT and website maintenance, promotions, financial reports, sales and customer service detail.
