History

Established in 2015.

Local Juicery was inspired by our travels, our love of spectacular food and our quest for optimal, enduring health. We believe that true wellness and full-hearted happiness go hand in hand. Our focus is to provide you with unadulterated, vibrant, organic and incredibly delicious food, smoothies and juice. We make everything with love, always.

Founder Summer Sanders is a certified raw food chef out of Matthew Kenney Culinary in Los Angeles. She is an author, plant-based nutritionist and wellness coach. Her heart is set on helping people move toward a plant-based diet in a delicious and fun way. Every recipe at Local was created with love and grounded in nutritional science.

Summer’s son Henry inspired her to create a brick and mortar business where she could help heal with food, inspire with plants and share her passion or health and true wellness.

Summer S.

Business Owner

Summer is a certified raw food chef, author, blogger, plant-based health coach, mama, and wellness enthusiast. Working in San Fransisco as a makeup artist and in the music industry took a tole on Summers health. Late nights, cocktail parties and music events packed on the pounds and monopolized her time, she was disconnected from her spirit and her diet lacked a basic nutrient profile. Looking in the mirror one evening, she realized her body and soul needed a major shift. She yearned for true connection. Summer started her journey to optimal health immediately by shifting to a ‘plant strong’ diet, beginning daily meditation and consuming cold-pressed juices each morning. By grounding her diet in organic fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and juices, Summer felt alive again. This was the beginning of her journey into culinary and nutritional education.
