Sedona ATV & Buggy Rental

We came to Sedona for vacation again this year as there is so much to do here. Friendly people. The buggy ride was a great experience. Haven’t done something like this for many years. If your teeth feel gritty that means you had a great time because you were smiling. Amazing views, rough roads, loads of fun.

I am very disappointed in this business. The prices are high. The business is based on discrimination, as my friend was turned down from riding a buggy due to his appearance (what he wore). If I could give less than one star I would. The workers were rude, I think because they were all wearing hot clothes and were hot. None of them were wearing shorts! And it’s summertime! What company makes you wear pants and a heavy t-​shirt. A company that does not take care of its employees is not somewhere that I want to spend my money! There’s plenty of lower cost atv rental places right down the street. I recommend trying those instead.

My husband and I are visiting from Vegas and had such an amazing time with Sedona ATV Rentals. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. They give you everything you need from educating you about the ATV you are renting to maps, water and information on the areas you will be visiting. Great experience and would recommend this business to anyone.

Had such an amazing time ! My husband and I did the 2 person atv ride and neither of us have been on a atv in years. It was beautiful magical and I loved every bit of it. The staff is great and professional !

I’m going to vary some from the 5-​star reviews here. However, they do run a good shop and ATVs and Sedona now go together like apple and pie and this is THE place, really.
BEWARE: If you want to go to the Indian Ruins, find out what time they close. We were not told, and missed it because check-​in was so slow.
That was my main issue. Very slow as 2 groups the same size hit at the same time. They need to streamline checkin, or beware and go crazy early. You could get stuck behind a big group (or two, or three) and be frustrated and miss the ruins.
Be ready for a $ 1,000 hold on your CC that doesn’t clear quickly. And I found their mapping to be terrible (and I’m very good logistically). They give you a highlighted map and a flip-​book of photos and descriptions. Not every page has mileage to the next spot, so it kind of leaves you stranded and guessing between points. Also, the terrain in the pictures must have been taken some years ago, because in many cases, it didn’t resemble what it is now. So we had to call multiple times for directions.
It’s $ 300 for 4-​hours on a 2-​seat Razr. Be sure you want to burn $ 300 quickly, have a hold on your CC for days, get hot, windblown and dusty, and call it fun.

I have been off roading in Sedona 6 – 7 times now and this is the place to rent! Fist two times I went to some random places and had lackluster experiences. Then we went to this place and were blown away, I have come back here everytime since! Definitely get a Rzr if you appriciate performace!
They are very friendly and cool, which is critical in a place like this. One time my friend was an idiot and ended up bending an A-​arm a little, they were very fair and honest and only charged us $ 100 to replace the part. We have accidently returned them a little late before and they were very cool about it.
They have a very good selection of vehicles. From atvs, to tomcars, to rzrs, to 6 person buggys. One thing, their website lists the half day times from 8 – 12 or 1 – 5, but in my experience they are flexible and don’t force you into those timeslots (e.g. 10 – 2 or 2 – 6 is ok), I dont know if they are just being nice or if Im misreading their website.
Overall 5 stars, Ive rented from them multiple timea and have always had a great experience!

First time ever on an atv and I’m super glad we went with Sedona ATV. The maps were great, we didn’t get lost at all; mostly because the maps come with photos. The vehicles were great and very well maintained. My boyfriend and I did the diamond back gulch and it is an amazing ride! The scenery was perfect and it was definitely a memorable trip. They also provided us a cooler full of water bottles which was very much needed and appreciated. The GPS also made me feel confident about venturing out. Everyone was really helpful and nice as I was a little nervous for my first ride. Would definitely come back and ride out again. :)

This was my husband’s favorite thing we did all vacation. We rented a buggy for half day (8 – 12) and it was the perfect amount of time and adventure for us. We took the trail to the Honanki Ruins and it was an amazing trail. It was so amazing to just drive/​play on the ATVs on the trail but then you look up and realize you are in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. And then you pull up to the ruins and the gigantic rock is so breathtaking! And you have to love the history aspect of the ruins. Very cool and I highly recommend the Honanki Ruins trail if you are doing a half day.
We had another hour left on our rental and they gave us another route to take but it started to get really cold and rainy so we called it a day. Even turning them in an hour early, we had enough adventure and fun to last us a lifetime. You get muddy which to me is all part of the adventure and fun! If you’re going to be outdoors, enjoy getting dirty too! We rented a two person ATV and took turns driving.
I read reviews about different rental places in the area before coming to Sedona and I’m so glad for one main reason — THE CLEAR DIRECTIONS ON THE TRAILS! Only at this ATV rental place to they give you a full pocket photo album that gives you step by step photo/​written directions on each trails. There were many natural landmarks that you had to follow to get to the ruins and Sedona ATV made it very easy. This helps you have more fun because you never feel lost or like you will never get to where you’re going in the correct amount of time. Do yourself a favor and use this company over others. I read many reviews on others that said they got lost on trails and they weren’t given good directions/​maps.
It was a perfect end to our vacation and we would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you Sedona ATV!

We had a LOT of fun out on the buggys. It’s definitely a really good time. However, I was told an incorrect price for the vehicles over the phone, and the workers neglected to inform us of the correct price per vehicle until we got back… It was on the paperwork, and yes, we should have read that, but I personally think the workers should VERBALLY tell their customers how much something costs, especially when it’s as outrageously priced as it is! That just seems like common courtesy… It felt like we got hustled! Also, one of our buggys broke down, so we lost a solid 20 minutes waiting for a repair, which sucked. Closer inspections of the vehicles before the public takes them out and actually telling your customers how much they’ll be paying would help this place a LOT.

the staff were so friendly and the ride was so fun. they gave you an easy to read map and a picture book to follow. you get to see the Arizona wilderness and have some fun! they are very informative and make you feel very confident about driving your buggy.

Friendly staff, fast service and their selection is great. Me and my wife rented a buggy for half a day and it went incredibly amazing. The dirt trail offered an amazing scenery and it was a lot of fun climbing rocks and going down hills. I recommend this place over Red Rock ATV rentals.

Great place to rent razors. We had a blast!!! They provide the maps and routes, highly recommend renting from here. They provided the water, gas and clean up. Great job guys!

Let me start by saying I’m pretty much the least outdoorsy person one can meet. However, I had so much fun with the atv! I was really nervous about driving it on the trails because the terrain was pretty rugged but it was so much fun. I drove the tomcart and it handled rocks, water, mud, dirt, etc beautifully. I have no idea what type of suspension these things have but super impressive. I took the outlaw trail and it’s not for the faint of heart. This store had the friendliest staff who were super helpful. Very efficient check in process.

Very friendly, we had a half day rental scheduled. They actually called to see if we wanted to pick up the vehicle 2 hours early free of charge. As it was we couldn’t make that early, in fact we showed up a half hour late. They proceeded to give us a extra half hour on the back end. We saw the ruins, and drove to some
Vistas which offered amazing views and picture taking.
We had a little mishap and lost the key to our rental car while Off-​roading. One of the workers showed us the way to good food, and also called one of the other ate companies to see if someone had turned in the key. 2 hours later we were fed, buzzed, and got a new rental car. All in all just another part of the adventurous day we had.

Sedona ATV has a great bunch of employees. They are friendly, personable and very knowledgeable. They made our trip so enjoyable. On our half day ride we got to see so many beautiful places. From the gorgeous iron infused mountains to the petroglyphs at Honanki, it was a fun filled day for sure. I can’t wait to go again.

We LOVED Diamond Back Gulch! 45 degree hills and momentum climbs. Beautiful canyon views and the turn by turn picture book is UNBEATABLE! Sedona ATV and Buggy rental gave us the best the canyons have to offer. Whether you are a novice or seasoned veteran, GOTTA check these guys out.

We had SO much fun on our ATV! The staff is great here and the rentals are very easy. Our ATV actually broke down pretty far out into the desert, but Sedona ATV sent a replacement (upgraded) ATV as soon as they could and they were very apologetic… no big deal. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area!

This place is top notch. We had a blast on the two person ATV for a half day rental. I love the way the completely set you up so all you have to do is go and have fun. The maps are awesome and easy to follow. We went to the ruins and then found an oasis back off dry creek rd passed the trail head for Devils bridge.
The only thing that keeps it from a 5 star is that you really can only see one thing maybe two, even though they tell you you have time to see a few. No knock, I know they use it as a way to get you excited. If you follow the rules and stick to the speed limit, you just run out of time on the half day. If you have the funds go full day. I’m sure you will see lots.
I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a hassle free activity that is super fun.

This is the only place you should go! There is another rental place around the corner from them that we checked out and it looked a little sketchy and the people were not nearly as professional.
Sedona ATV gives you a picture book for directions! It is literally step-​by-​step, every single turn is marked and landmarks as well. If there are two or more of you, having one person as the navigator works great. We went in October and the weather was perfect, not incredibly hot and still lots of sun.
If you’re looking for the rough outdoors experience you’ll want the tomcar, but if you prefer to be more comfortable, spend the extra money and rent the RZR 900. These things are AMAZING! They can handle any terrain and you won’t have a bruised coccyx when you are done. We did a half day tour (four hours) and saw the ruins as well as went up Schnebly Hill Road. If you have the time, do a full day tour. We were traveling at a pretty good clip and managed to squeeze everything in, but it doesn’t allow for a lot of sitting and enjoying the scenery (while not moving, that is).
We will definitely be back for another adventure!
