when people come in town and ask for a local place for burgers, they send them our way. Monday thru Thursday we have a lunch special and on Fridays we have a steak special for lunch and ribeyes on Friday night

my parents bought the business and 1981 and then decided to semi retire and that’s when I started running the business. my dad still comes in and works two days a week. I was raised in this kind of business so It’s just comes natural for me.

This place rocks great place to have a drink and listen to people laugh and make jokes about big fat cats the food looks good and fresh the beer is cold and the people are happy the locals rock and make visitors feel welcome love this place a must stop when in this area of the world

Very pleasant and comfortable environment. We stopped for lunch and a couple beers and it Was perfect. The food was good, not great but everything was made better by great service from Mary Sue!

I went to this dive for the 4.5 stars and was super unhappy. The restaurant was empty, it was dark, no music, just the laughter of the locals at the bar. I was hoping to stop in for a good burger, unfortunately it didn’t live up to everyone’s outstanding reviews. The only positive aspect was the service which the lady helping us was very nice. It’s cash only which isn’t too convenient and the shop wasn’t the cleanest & the food presentation wasn’t the best either. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

This place was interesting. Everyone inside was starring at my friends and I when we walked in and when we sat down. The staff was nice to us and only came to the table 2x. The food was okay, not great but not bad. I have to say though… I don’t know what it was but the water was the worst water I have ever had. I stopped drinking it after a couple sips even though I was thirsty because it was gross. I don’t think I’d recommend this place to other people.

Can’t believe people say this is the best bar food they’ve ever had or its a great dive bar and give 5 stars. It’s filthy, carpet smells like mildew, glasses are unwashed. Hamburger and fries/​onion rings were just ok, edible but not anything to rave about and expensive considering the atmosphere. Locals very unfriendly. Nice staff but would never go back even for a drink in a place this unclean.

We went here after looking at the great reviews. I was very disappointed. The menu was very basic, burger and fries. The service was very slow. We ordered medium rare, but received well done. My napkin was very dirty (white paper) with the clean silverware on top. Our server was not friendly or attentive.

Friendly, LOval, inexpensive, great food. It is Sedona’s only 5 star rated dive! well worth it if you want to get a figel for Sedina and the locals.

Great Margaritas, the staff was friendly.
We were there on Christmas Eve, all they had were hamburgers.
Not so great. Way over cooked and dry. Certainly not worth the $ 7.50 they charged.
I would go again just for the drinks.

Best Bar in Sedona, AZ hands down thanks to the bartender Bertha! If you want to avoid the touristy thing, head there for great hamburgers, cheap drinks and great insider tips. It’s cash only (ATM onsite) but well worth it!

Stopped here on a trip to Sedona and it’s a nice quaint half restaurant half bar, our waitress was very friendly and welcoming. Generous portions and great prices. Although only about 6 – 7 tables, a bit small it was really a nice late dinner. Oh and they have an atm inside because it’s CASH ONLY!

I am a burger lover and read on Unilocal they had one of the best burgers in Sedona, AZ. So I promised my self. Next time I was in town I was going to try it! So My mom and Step Dad and I went her for lunch today at about 1pm.
Its a little tucked away off 89. but if your local it isn’t hard to find. We drove up and there were a lot of cars in the parking lot. When we walked in we were able to grab a table right away.
Burgers are very good! served with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and onion.
Fountain drinks… Oh my God… Is it just me or are these cups HUGE!
Huge Corn dogs!
Cash only, but relax they have a ATM machine inside!
OK… if your looking for frills and fufu this places isn’t for you. But if your looking for Good hearty food with attentive service. Juke box with lots of good great music on it. Snarky bumper sticker to read while you wait for you food and Reasonable prices you should stop on by here. We will be coming back.

If you are ever in Sedona, AZ, this is the first place you should stop. It’s one of the coolest dive bars ever! We watch the Colts’ football game there on a Thursday night and had a great time with the locals. We also got a lot of «insider» tips on where to go and what to see.
Bertha was our bartender and she is The Best! Thanks to everyone there who made us feel so welcomed.

OMG! What’s not to love about this place? Fantastic burgers in a wonderful atmosphere!!! I haven’t seen too many dive bars since moving to AZ three years ago but this place is the best!
BTW, everything you read here about Bertha is absolutely true! She made an absolutely memorable experience all that much better.
DO NOT MISS EATING HERE!
