Absolutely the best dog training around. I can not recommend them enough. We came to them with a truly crazy puppy and left with an eager to please puppy. Sunny lane saved our relationship with our dog. He went from a nuisance to a member of our family.

In only 6 weeks, Carmen has given me the tools (and they are SO EASY) and knowledge that years of watching and practicing «Cesar» did not. I’m a Pit Bull person that strongly believes in rescue and rehabilitation. My first pit bull had so many issues and I had no idea what to do — I watched Cesar and practiced his teachings; I talked to trainers and kennels but no one had a good path for me to pursue. I lost him to cancer in March and was lucky enough to find and rescue my new dog, Rosie. As soon as she started showing signs of fear, I found Carmen and started Puppy Boot Camp. NOW I have a dream dog and the confidence in my ability to raise this girl into a fantastic breed ambassador. Carmen educated me on the way a dog thinks and SHE IS RIGHT — in 6 very short and wonderful weeks Carmen has transformed both of us into a positive, well behaved breed ambassador team (not to mention how cool it is when I say something to my dog, and she actually completely understands me!). Carmen also offers «Doggie Social Club» for large and small breed dogs. We’ve attended one of these and it was such a positive experience for both of us. Rosie played with joyful abandon and I watched her interact with other dogs and strange people as if she were a fluffy Golden Retriever. Attending these classes and club has been the most empowering and positive experience I’ve had since becoming interested in this breed (Pit Bull). I am so so so grateful for Carmen and the Sunny Lane Canine Academy and would recommend, without hesitation, any dog owner to this service.

Sunny Lane Canine Academy is owned and operated by Carmen Williams, one of the very best dog trainers in Skagit and Whatcom Counties. If you live anywhere near Sedro Woolley and have a dog that needs training, Sunny Lane is a place you should seek out. I live in Bellingham and have still visited several times, both for private lessons and classes. I’ve also attended several classes given by her at other facilities here in Bellingham. She has a deep understanding of dog behavior, is extremely caring, and most importantly has great people skills. My dog loves her!
