Its interesting to me that people either love this place with 5 stars or hate it with 1. I will never go back again. I only made an appointment here because it was one of the closest dentists to where I live covered by my insurance. When I got there, the appearance of both the outside and inside of the office were not appealing. Also I should note there was a guy in the side parking lot, in a blue scrubs smoking a cigarette. So after filling out paperwork and being seated in the room, a really nice lady who’s name I forget came and did my xrays, which the process itself wasn’t pleasant. So after she leaves, Edna the hygienist comes in. Right away she tries to upsell me on an Oral-B electric toothbrush that comes with a smartphone app so I can see how I’m brushing, and also about a teeth whitening treatment. I decline. She then goes to «clean» my teeth. Water is shooting EVERYWHERE. Its getting in my eye, its running down my chin to the point that I’m wiping myself off and her only reply is, «this happens.» I’ve been to dentists before in my life before and had many cleanings and this by far was the worst. After that, she sells me on some solution that goes between my teeth at the gum line, «very highly recommended» and not covered by my insurance. So I ask her how much, to which she seemed put off. It was $ 30.00, so for whatever peer pressure reason, I agree to it. So then Edna says she’ll be back and disappears. FOR A LONGTIME. I can tell because the tv in the room has been showing the Food Network show Chopped and I can tell based on the commercial breaks that I’ve been there awhile. So I get up and start to walk around the office to find that I’m the only patient left. I find someone who is shocked that I’m even in there and says«Oh Dr. De Marco will be right in.» So I go back to my chair and a few minutes later he walks in. Oh look it’s the guy who was out in the parking lot smoking earlier. Yay… He introduces himself and right away without showing me my xrays tells me that I need 3 fillings. I ask him to show me which he hands me a mirror and says«look, no one hates doing filings more than me, so you know if I tell you, you need them, you do.» I felt like that was very used car salesman like of him and my gut feeling was to not let his fingers in my mouth EVER. Also, he had his chin length hair loose, which freaked me out. I did make an appointment for the fillings under self pressure but the next day right as they opened, I called up and canceled and will never set foot in there ever again. P. S. as I was in the parking lot, the Dr. floored it past me in his car with another cigarette already.

I was at first weary of the outside appearance of the building thinking it was a trash clinic but gave it the benefit of the doubt. Dr. DE Marco is impeccable. Went above and beyond to make me elated and comfortable with my teeth/smile. However Sarah the female at the front desk who answered my call to come in and charged me out was so rude to me. If looks could kill. I was nothing but polite and she acted like I was doing her a favor. The constant eye rolls and demeaning looks where not worth the visit! She rushed me out of the office and c p old clearly hear her complaining about me to the women sitting next to her. Not a complainer but no one should be treated this way!!! Will definitely not be coming back! Bad staff=bad services.

Avoid this place at all costs. The office is dirty and the office staff is rude and obnoxious. The office manager is very unprofessional. They engage in deceitful business practices. Their out-of-pocket expenses are not transparent and they are deceitful. They don’t tell you the expenses or charges until it’s too late. The hygienists work on commission. They try to sell you everything under the sun and then do not explain the costs. Then you’re going to be on the hook for huge co-pay. Once again avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of other dental practices that are honest and respectful.

I just got a phone call about my appointment for today at 11:50am, that was maid 6 months ago, when I was there last time, without me confirming. I‘m at work and could make it today so they asked me if I can come at 1pm which doesn‘t work either since I‘m at work. Before when I wanted to reschedule I could without any fees. Now since this only check up and they won’t make much money out of it, they will charge me 35 $ cancelation fee. Usually you sit there for over one hour in a dental chair because they have to many patients at one time and to little doctors. The anesthesia was given to me couple times since I felt the pain after waiting 30 min for the doctor to come over and do my feeling. Once my temp crown was falling off first after I left the office and I almost swallow it. And the color of the crown that I have now is much whiter then my teeth! Waist of the money! My husband dosn‘t want to go there with me and he was right! Worst place ever! Stay away from here.

This is the worst medical/dental company I have ever encountered. I’m not sure if it is specifically the office or Great Expressions corporate(they have 200 sites), but in my opinion they are unorganized and, for lack of a better word, a «factory». If you remember when they were Exceldent and liked them, then you are in for a big surprise. I had an appointment with a specific doctor that I requested and was given an appointment 1 ½ hours before he came on duty which no one told me about until another doctor came to examine me, and then I was told. Insurance billing is a nightmare as they like to bill what they charge you rather than what the in-network contract rate is from the insurance company. I have been trying for weeks to resolve it with no success. The corporate office is in Michigan, the billing is handled in Georgia but all disputes need to be resolved through the local office’s biz manager who is only their part-time. I could go on and on but just beware. I’m going to look for another dentist and try to stay away from dental conglomerates.
