History

Established in 2010.

Though we are a young company, our employees know tree like no others. We became established in Pinellas County last year and our professionalism, ethics, and love of trees has allowed us to grow very quickly in a short period of time.

Business Owner

I am Tom Cruxon, the owner of Sherwood Tree Service. I started to love the outdoors in my early childhood growing up in North Nottinghamshire England. I attended Brackenhurst Agricultural College where my interest in trees and forestry became my main focus. After college I did residential and utility tree work for several years before moving to North Carolina in order to broaden my perspective and knowledge of the tree care industry. Here, while working for Heartwood Tree Service, my skills in residential tree care grew rapidly, and I also became a Certified Tree Care Safety Person, as well as a Certified Arborist and Certified Tree Worker. Currently, I am the proprietor of Sherwood Tree Service in beautiful Pinellas County and feel blessed to have the opportunity to take care of trees in this wonderfully sunny part of the world!
