Specialties
Rich, lustrous colors are achieved on these hand made copper enamel switch plates. I have a large array of original styles and art, many of which can be viewed at the dimensionalcolors.com website. Switch plates with only color and no design must be viewed in person; though small samples can be sent to you on request, to determine the best fit.
History
Established in 2000.
Dimensional Colors is a small, one person, arts and craft business specializing in original handmade switch plates. Before the price of copper dramatically increased, I was able to get reasonably priced sheets that I had cut for tile; this can still be done, but at a much greater cost so that it has to be a special ordered. By it’s nature, enameling is a labor intensive process, thereby it is not feasible to sold in stores, so that the switch plates are exclusive to the web, and the Port Townsend Farmers Market in Port Townsend, WA.

I got a very brief intro into enameling (fusing powdered glass to copper via kiln firing) during a jewelry coarse, which simply covered how to prep the copper. Having the fortune of acquiring a kiln, I was able to experiment. The decision to start enameling switch plates created the necessity to be able to repeat colors and styles; this lead to the ability to do custom colors. I live near Sequim Washington and can be found April thru mid-December on Saturdays at the Port Townsend Farmers Market in WA state. Hope to see you sometime.
