When I first moved to Sequim, I found myself in this store quite frequently. We bought a $ 1000 safe, a few used guns, had all of our transfers done there plus we bought some ammo there now and again. All in all, we weren’t regulars, but we gave them our business when we could. Fast forward to December and I went in to look around and saw a spam can of Romanian 8 mm for sale. Someone wrote 440 rounds on the case, along with $ 225 — the math was right at $ 0.50 a round, so I bought it. Later that night I was talking to a friend about the ammo and he said that the cans were either 340 or 380 rounds — depending on if they were on stripper clips or not. I looked up the can and sure enough there were only 340 rounds in the can — that is a substantial difference in both round count and price. I went back to the store the following week and talked to Linda, the woman who runs the store, and mention to her the discrepancy I had found. She became all frazzled then started bemoaning as I apologized for not trying to make a fuss, I simply wanted to make it right. She then went on to say that I was making a fuss and began to look up when the rounds were purchased and for how much. She found the order and stated that, yes, I was correct they were only 340 rounds in the can, but that’s the price was the same no matter how many rounds were in fact in the can; she continued by stating that she could not afford to lose any money on the sale. She made me feel as though she was doing me the favor of selling me the ammunition, well I certainly would not have bought it had I known there were a hundred rounds fewer. I didn’t want to cause any further issues, so I simply thanked her and went on my way.
I feel as though she could have handled the situation much better, as by making the purchase right will have certainly earned my business for the duration; but now I can assure you that I will not go back there for any purchase, of any kind. All that had to be done was to state that there was an error made and offer to make it right in some way, not make me out to be the bad guy. I am saddened by the fact that I have to write a negative review, but you simply don’t treat your customer base like you’re doing them the favor. I’ll be taking my business down to Boehner Firearms in Gorst from now on.

This store has it all! Arts and crafts supplies of various types. Good selection of models too! The gun store side of the shop also has a great selection and knowledgeable staff! Will definitely be back again and again!
