Kaboom is a high end, full service hair salon that specializes in trend setting cuts and colors. Kaboom is the only salon on the upper peninsula that is label. m exclusive. Our belief is that the integrity of hair and the quality of craft come first. The color lines we use cause the least amount of damage to the hair and follicle while providing the best results. Several organic options for regular hair care are available through salon exclusive brands like Label. m and Onesta. We strive to teach our clients how to recreate their personalized styles at home and to take the steps necessary to keep their hair looking as good as it can be for as long as possible. With this level of detail and artistry, we can proudly and confidently call our salon the best in the Northwest.

History

Established in 2001.

Kaboom Salon opened in 2001 on Cedar Street in Sequim, Washington. After moving to a larger location, also on Cedar Street, Kaboom offered not only hair styling but body piercing and eventually tattooing. In 2011 Kaboom relocated to its current location. Kaboom now serves as the only Label. m exclusive hair salon on the upper Olympic Peninsula and focuses solely on professional hair care.

Business Owner

Charity Ellison started her career in 1998 at Gene Juarez Academy of Beauty where she graduated top of her class winning the prestigious «Award of Excellence». Charity then opened Salon Metro in Olympia, WA. During this time, she then went back to Gene Juarez and got her teaching license. Wanting to bring the big city trends to her home town of Sequim, she opened Kaboom in 2001. Charity has trained and apprenticed eight stylist in that time, some of whom have opened salons of their own. Kaboom received the «Distinguished Acheivement Award» in 2011 by Ed Wyse and Label. m, and In 2012 Charity was recognized by Label. m for her knowledge and commitment.
