Our art gallery offers many fine-​art originals, framed and unframed prints, and very unique greeting cards. Our jewelry is all hand made – some from natural stone, some beads, cultured pears and… the list goes on. Our carvings include antique spools and masks. We have watercolor, oils, pastels, acrylics, photography. We’ve just added Zentangle! How fun. Come shop with us for unique quality and friendly service.

History

Established in 2013.

Our art gallery opened this year with quite a different business structure. Our artists pay per linear foot to rent wall space. The Gallery takes NO COMMISSION. Artists are not forced to Gallery sit, but all are expected to participate in Gallery operation in some way – preferably a way that is suited to their personality.

We’ve done very well in marketing our Gallery to the local community and we appreciate every person who has come through our doors.

LARC stands for Local Artist Resource Center. We hope to provide a center where many art-​relateld activities (retail sales, classes, matting, framing, mentoring, art supplies) can be found.

The LARC Gallery is privately owned by Shirley Mercer.
