Quality Inn & Suites at Olympic National Park

The property is nice and there is an Applebee’s 100 feet away. Cool. The only problem is the rooms are painted a color blue that looks like the same color you would find in an hospital room or a convalescence hospital. It’s really depressing. The staff is excellent and beds are comfortable.

We stayed here for only one night on our Spring Break Olympic Peninsula roadtrip with the kids. We were just «winging it» and finding hotel rooms as we went along. We stayed in a king room with foldout sofa-​bed for the kids. The king bed was super comfy. There wasn’t much of a view from the 2^nd floor but the room was clean and quiet even though the hotel was undergoing renovations and updating. The kids loved the indoor pool! Only downside we can think of was the television sat way too low to watch comfortably from laying down in bed.

Overall, we had a good experience at the Quality Inn & Suites at Olympic Park. We stayed here over the holidays in 2015 while visiting family. The room rate was reasonable and affordable, the free Wi-​Fi worked exceptionally, the bed pretty comfortable, and the rooms were relatively quiet with thick walls so you rarely heard your neighbors. Parking was easy and abundant, and despite the proximity to the highway, you don’t hear any road noise.
There are a few drawbacks to the hotel, however, that guests should be aware of:
1. The rooms locate the sink almost directly across from the bed — a very poor design. One guest cannot use the sink without the light from the sink vanity shining directly on the bed, waking the guest’s partner.
2. The Fitness Room is poor. It is a small room with only one (1) elliptical rider and one (1) exercise bike. That’s it. No free weights. No treadmills. No Nautilus machines.
3. The hotel has a pool, but it is relatively small with an L-​shape, and not conducive to swimming laps.
4. The beds have dark colored bedspreads that appear old and dated (and perhaps even dingy). Modern hotels more usually use white comforters, which appear fresher & cleaner.

I stayed here for a weekend workshop, and was very impressed. First, they were extremely pet friendly. We were given welcome baggies with treats, a poop bag, and a list of local pet services. Love that if you’re traveling with a pet! The outside dog area was great — the only improvement I would suggest is fencing it. The staff was exceptionally helpful. They answered all my questions. The Business Center was convenient and I could print what I needed from my own laptop via the wireless printer. The room was very clean and well appointed with supplies — including a coffee maker and a variety of coffees. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job — the room looked pristine when we returned.
I will be attending additional workshops here, and for sure will be returning. Oh, I almost forgot! The breakfast was great! They had a ton of choices from eggs & sausage to waffles to cereal to biscuits and gravy. Everything was clean and very very nice. They have a pool that I didn’t use, but I did see others there. Wi-​Fi was strong and easy to access.

Before I get into the general review I would like to say that this is one, if not the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. I’m not really a clean freak, but I do notice the little stuff. All the nooks and crannies in the show enclosure was spotless, as was the shower curtain. The carpet was vacuumed each day, the garbage emptied and bed made.
This was our first time staying in a hotel in the Sequim /​Port Angeles area. We had friends in a band performing in Port Angeles for two nights so we needed somewhere to stay. Not finding anything in Port Angeles that was to our liking we ended up staying at the Quality inn, in Sequim. A few basic things led me to this hotel. It’s got a good number of excellent reviews, its location is close to the freeway and they are pet friendly.
We stayed in a King bed Suite, that has a sofa in it on the third floor directly across from the elevator. It wasn’t a huge suite, but it was plenty comfortable enough. Because the hotel is close to the freeway we could hear traffic when we had the window opened, but for us at least it wasn’t objectionable. We never heard the elevator, however we could hear the doors of rooms nearby slamming shut whenever someone entered or left a nearby room. At night it was quiet despite the hotel being pretty close to full. Breakfast included bread products, bagels, English muffins, Juice, Coffee and tea, which I expected, what I wasn’t expecting was the scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy. I have had better hotel breakfasts, but for a Quality inn I was pleasantly surprised. They are pet friendly, but for this trip we did not have our dog with us.
Pros:
One of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at.
Continial breakfast plus, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy.
Every staff member I interacted with was super friendly.
Dog friendly and with management’s permission they will even take a big dog (great dane).
Beds were better than I expected.
Lemon water, and bowl for dog water in the lobby.
Did not have a problem finding luggage cart both when checking in and out.
There were plenty of towels in the room, all in good shape 3 hand towels, 4 wash clothes, 4 bath towels.
Office computer was functional
WIFI worked great even with the full hotel
Cons:
Bathtub squeaked loudly while showering (could lead to a noise issue for those below us)
Doors close loudly which could be a noise disturbance
All and all this is was good stay, we have gotten us to staying at places like Holiday inn express, but didn’t for this trip because the local one was so expensive. This was a good alternative, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the clean, comfortable accommodations and for all of the friendly staff.
I’m really torn between giving this place 4 or 5 stars. Though there are some areas that could use improvement (excessive noise from doors closing), I’m going to go ahead and leave a 5 stars based on cleanliness, friendly staff, willingness to take pets, that and it is probably one of the top two Quality inns I have stayed at, far exceeding the normal Quality inn.

I travel all over Washington State for work, and being on a public employee travel budget, I stay at hotels that honor the government rate. This is the first time I’ve stayed at a Quality Inn, and honestly, I probably won’t stay at one again.
My room was clean enough, although I had to air out the room freshener as it was overpowering. Also, people smoke in front of the entrance, so to even get inside you have to walk through the cloud of cigarette stench, then if you are especially «lucky», you just might have to share the elevator with someone who is reeking of nicotine.
The bed was comfortable enough, but the toilet had issues and I had to call the front desk to send someone up to unclog it at 6 a.m. Not an experience I enjoyed, having a hotel employee have to deal with my crap, to put it delicately.
After that humiliation, I went down to check out their much-​promoted healthy breakfast. Unless you like waffles, bagels and pastries, you’re pretty much limited to yogurt and hard boiled eggs.
I probably will not choose this hotel the next time I’m in this area.

Daytime employees are nice and friendly, but night time just ruined the whole thing. Good luck staying there!

I stayed here for 3 nights while in WA for my grandma’s funeral. I’ve never stayed at a Quality Inn before and I was very pleasantly surprised with my experience. It was very clean and a comfortable atmosphere and a really reasonable price. The staff was super nice and helpful. They had a really good free breakfast in the morning. The rooms were nice and spacious. They had a good pet area and lots of nearby restaurants and businesses. I think Quality is a good description for this hotel because it was a nice play to stay and you can tell they care about the hotel and it’s visitors. Matter of fact because my experience here was so great I chose to stay at another Quality Inn on my way back home and it was equally as nice.

We had a pleasant one night stay at this hotel. We purchased 2 rooms for our family and the service was great. Rooms were clean, updated and comfortable. The included hot breakfast was exactly as expected: eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, cereal, waffles and toast. The front desk staff were very friendly, professional and helpful.

We really liked this hotel! It was spotless, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was great. Would recommend to anyone!

I stay in Sequim or Port Angeles a few times a year and after a few grim experiences I finally stayed here. Thank goodness. The room was spotless.
I usually have to ask for more pillows but there were 5 with our king bed. The beds were comfortable and the local photographs were a refreshing change from bad motel art.
It was simple to login to their wifi from my mobile phone.
The $ 20 more per night than the other motels along that corridor was well worth it for the clean quiet comfort. I’ll be back.

VERY CLEAN! That’s what counts most to me. Plus, helpful front desk staff and a nice breakfast (which included biscuits and gravy and waffles). Bed was comfortable and had a nice down (or synthetic down — I couldn’t tell) comforter. Price was $ 113 for 3 people on a weekend. Also has a pool, hot tub, and free wireless internet (none of which we used, but were available).

our room had a frig and microwave which we made use of after visiting this great farmers market nearby (cant remember the name).
one of the few chain hotels in the area and they take advantage of it.
$ 150 night in summer is way too high for this place. at half that we would have been pleased.

This was my 3^rd. or 4^th. time staying at the this place while on business. Overall, it’s a great hotel. The cleanliness had always been the returning factor for me. However, my latest stay showed a slight deviation. The staff is great, the breakfast (free) is also great. They have a pool, hot tub, and laundry.
This time i noticed that the room cleaning was spotty. The first few days was great with the exception of them only giving me one bar of soap. That’s ok, if you don’t mind washing your hands in the bath tub. Over the next few days I noticed that my trash wasn’t getting emptied and the floors weren’t being vacuumed. I also noticed that the bathroom counter, and the toilet weren’t cleaned either. A call to the desk brought a housekeeper rapidly. She emptied my trash and left me with liners.
Will I stay here again? Yes. Only because it’s better then anything else in Sequim.

I forget how truely nice people are in Sequim. I guess after living in San Francisco for so long you get kind of used to rude people or people who just push you without apologizing.
When we arrived there was women who started asking about where we were from and then next thing I know we were chatting for like 10 minutes.
They were great! The room was great although our view was of a stroage business but we forgive them. :)

I am always very pleased when I visit Sequim and stay here at the Quality Inn. The hotel is fairly new. The rooms are always clean, the continental breakfast is good.
For a small town like Sequim that prides itself on its various summer festivals, this is a wise choice for accommodations.

An Inn, you say?
Hmm.
Maybe.
An upscale Motel, perhaps.
Not that I didn’t enjoy.
I learned something very important about travel: BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW.
This «Inn» was just fine by me.
The continental breakfast (included with room) featured make-​it-​yourself waffles. YUM.
Pool.
Jacuzzi.
«Exercise Room»…A bike and a stair step. No thanks.
The staff is very helpful and the Internet access was free and easy.
Close to downtown Sequim — the center of the known universe, dontcha know.
