History

Established in 1986.

This agency was established in Cranberry Township over 25 years ago by Allstate Exclusive agents Darrell Namie and Glen Mason. Upon their retirement in 2011, Brian Prossen took over as owner and the agency became The Prossen Agency LLC. At that time the office moved a couple miles down Route 228 near the border of Cranberry Township and Seven Fields.

Upon graduation from West Virginia University in 1994 with a BS in Accounting, I worked for Mellon Trust in Pittsburgh for a few years. Following that I spent 15 years in the tax and accounting business. I always had my eye on becoming a personal financial representative and my work in that field was excellent preparation for that goal. While working full time, I went to night school to earn a Masters of Business Administration degree from Youngstown State University in 2004. Later, I acquired my securities (Series 6, 63) and insurance licenses (P, C, L, A, H).

My dream of becoming a business owner and a personal financial representative came true in 2011 when I purchased this Allstate agency in Cranberry Township. We are now in the process of adding a second location in Neshannock Township in New Castle, PA. The two locations are ideally situated to provide outstanding service to our customer base which is primaly located in Butler, Beaver, Lawrence and Allegheny counties.
