My aunt’s father recently died on December 16^th and we had his viewing here. His casket was open and it was so beautiful. My aunt and I were in front of him talking to him and praying and then I touched his hands and kissed him on his forehead. The video of pictures of him was beautiful. He was a sweet man and will be missed. May Regis Rest in Peace. 1937 – 2015

Having been to a funeral at Barranco shortly before my husband died in 1997, we had made arrangements with John Barranco to have the cremation and memorial service there as soon as my husband’s cancer reached fourth stage. He wanted to be in his hiking clothes with his backpack for eternity, and they were very accommodating (except for the tiny stove — a hazard, which John suggested we keep as a memento — very wise advice).
Nearly twelve years later, my dearest friend passed suddenly in sleep, and as personal representative, I did not hesitate to return to Barranco for more compassionate assistance with final arrangements and memorial service, this time at a nearby church.
Now my friend’s brother has died suddenly in a car crash, and I immediately recommended Barranco. I trust they will be as caring and helpful with this tragedy.
