It All Started With Our Founders

Lori and Paul Hogan, Home Instead Senior Care Co-​Founders

It was Paul and Lori Hogan’s own experience caring for Paul’s grandmother in her home for 12 years that inspired them to launch Home Instead Senior Care in 1994. Realizing that there were others families like theirs that needed help to keep their loved ones safely living at home, they have devoted themselves to making home care available throughout the U.S. and around the world. It’s what they know and love, and their services allow them to make a real difference to communities, families and individuals everywhere.

As a geriatric social worker, I have found my love and passion for working with the elderly population. I realized that after using Home Instead Senior Care for my own grandmother, it had truly made a difference for my family and for my grandmother. I had seen how much she enjoyed having companionship and it had given me and my family members a peace of mind. It’s a wonderful feeling that we can provide such a quality service to Seniors allowing them to continue living independently and safe in their own home.
