Really disappointed with my last visit. The seaweed on my sushi was inedible and chewy, which was gross. I couldn’t eat it, so I asked for them to replace my sushi with a seaweed-​free alternative.
The owner refused to do it, even after I explained everything to him. I’m never going back there again– they do not care at all if the customer is happy or not.
If you decide to go, let me know how deliciously chewy the seaweed is.

My husband & I had a late work day and didn’t want to travel the 25 minutes to our usual sushi spot and given the good reviews, we thought we’d give them a try and order takeout.
Not sure if it was the time we went (9:30pm), but the sushi rolls were warm and didn’t seem to be put together with care. My husband couldn’t finish the 2 rolls he ordered, just wasn’t appetizing enough. I managed to finish my rolls– but ended up scraping off a good amount of «spicy» mayo, which actually just tasted like regular, warm mayo. The rolls just didn’t taste… fresh.
Neither of us have any desire to go back, unfortunately.

New to the area and craved Chinese food after a long day of yard work. I’m usually very skeptical about fusion fast-​food joints (ie Chinese Mexican food… not good for de bowels). However, gave it a try based on reviews.
I got Chicken w Mixed Veggies and hubs got General Tsos with lo mein. The dinner combo comes with egg rolls. The food hits the spot, but it’s by no means the best Chinese I’ve ever consumed. In some Asian establishments they burn incense as homage to Buddah. Problem with that is that the incense smell lingers and can get trapped in food. I noticed that taste in my husbands noodles. It’s a weird thing to notice, but hey, I’m Asian so I can’t help recognizing this stuff.
I’ll try other Chinese joints before heading back and will probably try to get sushi here over Chinese.

For takeout sushi, I prefer this place over Karaku in town. It’s fresher, better special rolls, and all of the family members that work there are so nice. I’ll be back the next time I’m craving sushi, and will definitely try their chinese menu next!

I had the sushi and it was great… not only the sushi was great, it was also great value. I got 3 rolls for $ 10 with a can of soda. This is not a sit down service type of place more of take out, they do have a few tables though.
The food was amazing, I will definitely be going back.

The sushi is delicious and the place is always very clean. The boy who usually works at the counter when I go is also pretty cool too. That being said, I wasn’t a huge fan of their regular food outside of their sushi. Still, the sushi is good enough that it’s worth going back for. I can always get regular Chinese food elsewhere. Free wifi would be a nice option for customers too, please consider it!

This is a terrific little place, and the food is always fresh. They have amazing sushi roll deals, and aren’t skimpy on the portions or quality of ingredients like some other places. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for some sushi for an easy lunch to sit in or to take home! The people who work there are all friendly and efficient and I’ve never had a bad experience.

Really pleased with our new find. We live in the next town over and it’s hard to find good sushi OR Chinese food. To find both at one location is awesome. What’s better is that the food and price was GREAT!!!

We have been coming to Sushi & Wok ever since they have opened. EVERYTHING is fresh and made to order. PROFESSIONAL & FRIENDLY STAFF. This restaurant has never made a mistake in ANY order we ever had. DELICIOUS and they give you just the perfect amount. The price? This is the MOST reasonable and tasty place there is anywhere in this area. WE NEVER HAVE A PROBLEM HERE. 5 STARS AND GOING STRONG. We HIGHLY recommend this place. 5 STARS FOR SURE. Wish we could leave more!

Love this place, the food is always fresh. Their special rolls are a lot less expensive compared to other sushi restaurants! My favorite is the Atlantis Roll, definitely try it!!!

You cannot beat the price. The location is really good for me too. This is good but not great sushi and Chinese food for a great price. I like the Spicy Tuna roll particularly. The young kid who works the register is the man.

You can’t beat 3 sushi rolls and a Miso soup for under $ 10! The have a 2 roll special and a 3 roll special. I’ve tried their sushi and Chinese food. Everything has been excellent. I typically don’t order their specialty sushi rolls because they are small and their 3 roll special is such a great deal. The staff is very friendly and the service is quick. I’ve never eaten in the restaurant, but it is clean with ample seating.

Finally there is a reasonably priced sushi restaurant in Seymour! I usually do take out at Sushi & Wok, but whenever I pick up food I always see people dining in. The sushi rolls here are always fresh and their Hot & Sour soup is always a must! The staff is very friendly and accommodating and I never have to wait for my order when I arrive which is great so I can get in and out fast. The best part about this place is the convenience (right off Route 67) and the fact that you can get 2 rolls for $ 6.95, including miso soup, at any time of the day!

I went in looking for a quick sushi lunch. I left very satisfied.
The sushi was very reasonably priced! 9.35 for three rolls is a lot cheaper than most other sushi restaurants (13 – 15 is most common). What stood out was not the price, however, but the rolls of sushi. I got the Salmon Avocado, the Tuna Avocado, and the Spicy White Tuna roll. While all three rolls were good, the Spicy White Tuna roll was particularly tasty.
The people were also very friendly. The sushi took around 10 – 15 minutes, so not very fast, but not that slow either.
I recommend coming here. The sushi was very fresh and tasty and the place was clean.
