Sparkle & Shine Pet Grooming

They are the best. They treat each dog with TLC. I have an older dog, that only I can really handle, and to groom him takes a strong will. They do their absolute best, with an older unruly dog. I’ve tried many places in the last 20 years, and they are the nicest, most professional husband and wife team you can find. They have gone the extra mile for my dogs each and every time. I can see why they have five stars. And I love the pictures of the animals they have when you pull them up under Unilocal.Thank you, and congratulations on your marriage. PS, my dogs drag me to their door, totally amazing people.

The first time I came here I brought my doberman and let me tell you, just walking into the store you feel a very welcoming atmosphere. My dobie came out looking beautiful! They took really good care of her, she went in so nervous but came out looking fresh and happy.
First impression is everything, the owners were so sweet, friendly, knowledgeable and caring that I came back a second time with my 2 chihuahuas. It was their first time being at the groomers and they were beyond terrified (one of them got aggressive:/) I was beginning to think it was a bad idea. Jessica took my dogs in a professional manner that wasn’t harmful, the owners reassured me that they were going to make things comfortable for them and they weren’t going to force something on them that the dogs didn’t like. I left a little worried just because it was their first time but I knew I was leaving them in good hands.
Needless to say, this place lives up to their philosophy of zen. When I went back to pick up my pups I was so nervous, I was expecting to hear that my dogs gave them a hard time but the owners told me that they were sweet (I was shocked). They told me that they were full of stress being in a new scenery with different scents (in addition to me giving off my worried energy while holding them didn’t help either). They gave my dogs space, built trust, handled them with care and got everything done. My pups came out looking cute and clean, I walked out of there happy and satisfied.
Once again the groomers did an awesome job! It was worth every penny. It did take some time but if you want something done right then patience is key. I’m glad that their first experience was at Sparkle and Shine. You will not regret bringing your dog here for their grooming needs, these amazing people know what they’re doing.

My dogs came back to me happy, hydrated, and unharmed. This is a big concern for me as I have heard dozens of horror stories about animals being grossly mistreated at the groomers (everything from cuts, cutting off the tips of ears, to death).
The cuts my two dogs received were okay, a little choppy in places. the waiting area leaves much to be desired, but i like that you can see the grooming table and area where the dogs are held, very transparent. but i would absolutely bring my dogs back here because i trust they will be well cared for.

I have yet to leave a review and have been going to Sparkle and Shine for about 4 years now. These groomers are by far the best I have ever experienced, and I have gone to many over the years as I have always had dogs. Their professional handling of my dogs is second to none. I have total confidence in them when it comes to grooming my dogs. They are very customer friendly, and do anything I ask, which is not much when you can just leave it to them, as they are fantastic and know more than me. I would recommend Sparkle and Shine to anyone, and have to many. If you see a bad Unilocal review on this groomer, I can say that somehow the fault would lie in the person giving the bad review, as these are the best!

We took our Rottweiler puppy here for her first bath and a year later (and many many more pounds!) we still take her here. She loves coming here and runs inside with no prompting. The staff is very friendly and always do a great job (with our other two dogs as well). Highly recommend them!

One of my dogs in quite old, blind and deaf. Min poodle. They have groomed him and my others dogs for several years. I cannot say enough. re the kind, compassionate and loving care they use with senior dogs. My younger labra doodle runs right into the shop to greet everyone. First facility I have ever used that you can view the grooming being done from the door. I have used many grooming facilities over the 15 yrs in the area. No One comes close to the first class care and service they provide. Keep up the exceptional work… You are the BEST!!!

I have been bringing my ‘lil dude «Mick» for about a year. Mick is a Malty-​poo we think and he’s super sweet but quite shy. It breaks my heart to leave him but I know he’s in kind, gentle hands. He always looks great and doesn’t seem too stressed when I pick him up! You have to schedule way in advance with S&S, but it’s worth it to know your pet will be well cared for!

I love Sparkle & Shine! I’ve been bringing my Bichon Frise here for a couple years and Jessica does an amazing, perfect job grooming him! They’re very reasonably priced, and Rupert comes home looking like he’s ready for a dog show with his jaunty little bandanas that are always themed for whatever holiday is coming up.
They do take a bit longer than other groomers I have been to but they like to take their time with the pups so as to not overwhelm them. When I first started bringing Rupert here like with other groomers he would hear the blow dryer and dogs barking and try to run the other way, but now when he sees Jessica he perks right up and isn’t scared. :)
I moved far away from this place but still take Rupe here cuz they are the BEST!

We take our dogs, Bud & Honey, to S&S and they are treated very well and come home looking super! Their prices are very reasonable and work with our extra requests. I highly recommend them!

Took my fur baby, Coco, there a couple months ago and he came out great. They were decent with pricing and I felt really good about leaving him in their kind and capable hands. Will be back and have recommended them for my parents and grandmothers dogs…

I brought my dog (pomeranian poodle 14 lbs) in for a cut, wash and dental clean. I dropped her off around 12 noon and came back around 4 p.m., when I walked in to pick her up she was panting and looked extremely weak (unlike her). The groomers didn’t look me in the eye once, so that was a sign she wasn’t treated with the care I would’ve expected. When we got home she ran to her water bowl drank 2 bowls (unlike her), and went to sleep. I had to leave so I took her with me. She slept the entire ride. My dog is very friendly, overly active, kissy and alert; after this visit she was completely opposite for the rest of the day. Also, she was cut a little too low and her rubber bands were way too tight, I couldn’t get them out, I had to cut them out when it was time for her «at home» bath. I don’t think I’ll ever go back. I found a groomer that makes sure she has water, treats & handles her with care. She’s my child and I expect my child to be handled with care.

I notice my pets love going here and don’t seem to be stressed compared to when I take them to my other groomer. The other groomer is good too but when my pets come out of here they are happier and calmer and don’t act as if they couldn’t wait for me to pick them up!
It would be cool if they could add other services like teeth brushing etc, but what they do they do fabulously well. They also don’t overbook — I know because it is harder to get in for a grooming but that is great because they spend a lot of time on each pet.

I brought my pups in here for the first time this week and we were overall very pleased. The couple (I think they are a couple…) that owns it are super nice. I was a little nervous because our female dog gets really nervous about stuff like this. When I told them that and talked about the ways to calm her down, they wrote down some notes on that, which instantly made me feel better. They seem very nice and when I came back to pick them up, both dogs seemed not too traumatized, smelled great, and were clipped and pretty. My only reasoning for not giving 5 stars is I wished they had clipped off a bit more hair since it’s summer, but the next time I take them I will be more specific about that. Overall though, it was a great experience. Will definitely be bringing my dogs back here again!

Excellent service. I was so worried as i have never left my dog for grooming and they made me feel so comfortable and my dog was so happy when i picked her up. I highly recommend this place

I have been taking my dog Emerson here just for his nails and they have always treated my family and I amazingly. They really act like they care about my booger who hates to have anything done to him. Jessica seems to always be busy but always finds time for my walk ins. Thank you so much guys! I rarely write reviews, but had to agree with all the other five star reviews. Outstanding, thorough grooming job. .. and outstanding ability to handle all types of dogs (aged, temperamental) with great care. My 5 dogs run out and come out looking gorgeous.

BEST GROOMER EVER! Just got back from getting my pup’s nails trimmed finally (after trying to do it myself for two months). Jill from Reservoir Dawgs Sanctuary recommended taking my afraid of strangers dog there because Jessica was great with all types of dogs. Thank you Jill and thank you thank you Jessica at S&S. Jessica calmly took Mr. Bojangles back and was extremely gentle but firm. He was scared but didn’t freak out and actually let Jessica trim all four paws. I was pleasantly shocked and now we have a place to take him and not worry about in-​grown doggie nails anymore.

I bathe my own dogs but take them here to get their tow nails trimmed. They are always happy to accommodate me as a walk in.
My bulldog will not let us touch her toenails but for some reason at S&S she stands quietly and almost hands them her feet. For $ 10 that works just fine for me!

My dog comes home sparkly and shiny. The best in the business. Most important to me is how clean and awesome job they do, but to make things even better the staff has the best customer service ever. I don’t usually write reviews, but I really had to for this one.
