In fact I’d put NEGATIVE stars if it is possible!
In summary: way overpriced, absolutely no respect for customer’s time, threats to put a lien on my house when I insisted to speak to Ken before I paid the $ 200 balance.
For that insistence: I had threats of putting lien on my house, and having their lawyer serve me. from: 1. the supposed supervisor, 2. Renita Brown (receptionist or boss?) 3. Mr. Ken Brown (who had 2 days earlier overly enthusiastic to even suggest that he’d come with the city inspector and the insurance inspector.) And ugly, language slammed on me from Erica Brown & Mr. Ken Brown! Ken also threaten NOT to help me with insurance claim!
PRICE: I was told that there was foundation concrete slap leak — when in fact it was the connection of the facet to the ice-​maker of the refrigerator where repair was needed. COST: detection & fix $ 3,650.
AS of now, I had paid in full (the $ 200 balance over the phone with Mr. Ken Brown on 04/​14/​2016), I had not received the necessary document from Ken for my filling for insurance claim! I wrote an email to Ken Brown and he still threatened to have his lawyer serve me to sue me. In the last email from Ken Brown, he suggested $ 100 refund to stop me from writing any review. My reply was: the only way was sincere apologies from the 3 persons who had been rude to me.
Renita Brown was only interested in impressing me with their 20+ years in business.
Let’s talk about PUNCTUALITY aspect:
We had agreed on the initial visit via email, with the address and the time window of the appointment as 9AM –11AM. I do NOT live on the location — it takes at least 30mins drive from where I live to the house where the fix was required. I arrived before 9AM and waited to past 11:05AM. Called to have Renita Brown telling me that the appointment had to be rescheduled to ANOTHER day! At my insistence, Ken and another worker came in the late after around 4PM. OK … I was foolish enough to sign the contract and paid $ 2000+ as down payment WITHOUT looking for someone as second opinion — because I have a busy life juggling with 2 jobs. One of which as a healthcare practitioner seeing clients at the location where the fit was needed. So, I don’t have all the time to have workers dropping in as and when at their convenience!
The agreement was the work itself would take may be 2 – 3 days and would start the following TUESDAY. Yes, Ken and another worker came in rather timely on TUESDAY.
Following that… the finishing part of the part goes by THEIR RULE: (for 2 days: Wednesday & Thursday)
1.THE CONTRACT SAID THAT YOU HAVE TO BE THERE WHEN THE WORKERS ARRIVED.
2.THE OFFICE WILL CALL YOU WHEN THE WORKERS ARE ON THE WAY THERE! so, I spent the whole Wednesday waiting from 10AM — to be informed around 6PM that no one would come to finish up. And Thursday again, waited till around 2PM when the office called to say someone was on the way. But 5 mins thereafter, a worker called to say he was already outside my door!
3.Like it or not — you pay the balance (my $ 200) when the worker believe the job is done — regardless of my dissatisfied with the finishing! The ‘hole that house the main facet to the house’ was left uncovered. They left a mess of concrete at the side of my house.
I was advise to file a claim with BBB. The response from Renita Brown was a bigger pack of lies and excuses about language barrier! I will say that all the persons I had in contact with in Brown & Sons (may be except a junior worker call John) were all liers. One should always use voice recording in any verbal conversation with them for later verification.
As of now, Ken Brown still had NOT fulfill his obligation to furnish the documentation for filing with insurance. The amount of $ 3622 had been paid in FULL on 04/​16/​2016. I rest my case whether if you are sensible in trusting your house repair with Brown and Sons!

The best towing service in Oklahoma! Courteous drivers and great service. They were fast to respond to my call and had my car towed in no time at all! We will use them for all of our towing needs.

This company worked a tractor trailer rollover accident where I happened to be stuck waiting. They managed to stand it up on a bridge, with barely any room to work, and did it without damaging the truck. I was impressed that they know their stuff!
The driver of the rollover truck told me that Brown and Sons helped him find a hotel room, and gave him a ride from the scene to the hotel. I know who I’ll call if I need help in Shawnee.
