Chad, Showed up on time and installed my AC unit in a very efficient manner. He was very professional and respectful. Appreciated the help in installing the thermostat as well. Would recommend Mission to anyone.

Bryan & Casey were very professional. Installation of Trane AC and Furnace went smoothly. Attention to details of the install very good. No shortcuts taken. Job site maintained and cleaned before leaving. Overall cost of system reasonable. Communication with business prompt and courteous. You should feel comfortable trusting this business.

I am posting again because there is no other way to respond to the owner. Gene, your company did NOT get to me on the same day as I called. But that is minor. What you are missing and that is not acceptable is that you made a repair without my permission or informing me of the cost in advance, could not explain how the figure charged was determined and that the final figure I was charged was continually changing. I would also like an idea of how your rates match up when you are essentially charging $ 800/​hour for labor. Is that standard in this industry? If I had been told in advance what the charge was for the repair, I would have rejected it. You have also not addressed why my service charge was higher than my friend’s, who had work done a month ago, and why it was not credited toward the repair, as her’s was.

We recently switched from another large PH&C company and are very impressed with our first experience with Mission! In getting a new A/​C unit installed, communication with Bryan, Craig, Bo, and Pat couldn’t have been better. Prices were fair and we’ll look forward to future service from these guys!

Once again, excellence from the Mission PHC company — this time the work was performed by Jim O. I called Mission when I saw that I had a backed up overflow on my HVAC unit on the 3^rd floor. Jim came right out to the house within a couple of hours, and cleared the clog. However, he rightly saw that there was not a water sensor in the pan, nor a proper pan installed under the whole unit. Working in a very tight space, he took measurements and proposed a condensate pump as well as water sensors, reply Bing the overflow, adding a couple of water directors under the humidifier and the filter so that there would not be a problem in the future. He worked diligently to create the right solution (as well as creative) for the space. I could not be more pleased, as well as have the peace of mind that we are protected with this new solution/​configuration. Kudos to @missionphc and to Jim O!

While no one ever wants to have to replace their airconditioning system, we knew it was time! Chad is an amazing rep for Mission PHC… sharp and responsive. We couldn’t have asked for better support: answering questions, making suggestions and offering ways to save a few dollars. We were just as happy with Steven and Josh who came with Chad to install (on a rainy Monday… not the best day for that kind of work). They were cheerful and efficient… and extremely neat and clean! I had expected to have to clean after they left, but, they’d cleaned up even better than I could have done!!! Thanks, Chad, Steven and Josh!

Wow! What great service and response time! Jim from Mission Plumbing had a new water heater installed in2 hours. A real professional and a friendly guy. Very neat job as well. Incredible, called for a water heater pilot flame issue, from the beginning trying to sell me a new equipment, high price! Just visit and «diagnosis» over $ 100.00 just to see it not even touch it… not intention to find a solution or repair… just sell you a new piece of equipment, just shut down heater and not intend of repair and when you ask details of breakdown of the quote, answer oh nope is just a package… not worth to call them… very unsatisfied experience, very unsatisfied service and frustration with the technician and office dispatcher.

Craig, Chad and Casey and the whole Mission Plumbing Heating and Cooling team did a fast, amazing job for me at a super price. I couldn’t be happier with my experience. There are a lot of good HVAC companies in KC but I am thrilled that I ran into these guys. They had my new AC up and running within 24 hours of giving me the quote. Their quote was significantly less than the other two quotes I received. Thank you!!!

Gary and Tom were the installers for Mission Heating and Plumbing and they showed up on time and finished ahead of schedule. By the time they were done, I had a nice looking new AC and Furnace installed. They were professional through the whole installation and left with no trace of a mess or anything that I needed to clean up afterward. Mission had the rare combination of the best price and service based on experience and experience with numerous other similar companies in the area.

The guys at Mission Plumbing Heating and Cooling saved me a huge amount of money, and it was because of their honesty and expertise. I should mention, this was my first time using them.
So what happened? Here’s the run-​down:
I called in AB May to inspect my furnace that had stopped blowing. The guy came out, ripped out my blower motor, took one look and said he would have to replace the entire thing. Quoted me $ 1,700 dollars. I told him I would not accept that service. He told me if only I had agreed to their monthly plan, it would have only cost $ 60. Wow.
I called Mission and the owner Jean and Chad immediately asked if the part was under warranty. Of course I had no idea, so they looked it up for me over the phone. Sure enough it was, something AB May never considered to ask. Why not? Because AB May techs are comped based on total bill. Not hourly.
Jean and Chad ordered me the part and were out the next day, got my furnace running tip top shape, and the small cost of part under warranty and service call is all I had to pay.
Bottom line: These guys are fast, professional, and I trust them. They are paid hourly and not compensated on how high they can get your final bill, unlike competitors.

Plumber was polite. Called to let me know he’d be 30 minutes late.
Took 80 more minutes to evaluate problem and write estimate for thousands of dollars. Had another plumber come out and he fixed the problem in an hour for $ 120.
The gentleman was clean, polite, concerned about not making a mess in my house but I don’t have thousands to give away.

Had Mission install my whole-​house humidifier years ago. Unfortunately, I unknowingly stripped the water supply tap. Called them and received excellent, quick service. Repairman was kind, professional and knowledgeable. Price was fair too.

Very happy with Mission Heating and Cooling. I had Steve Flaming give me an estimate for a new air conditioning unit. I asked if he could get it installed in three days because my older dog has breathing issues. He said he’d call me at noon and let me know. He called just when he said he would and told me that he had set it up for when I requested. Steve also showed up when the installers were at my house working to check on it, which I appreciated. I hoped they’d be there at 8am like he told me they would. Not only were they on time, one of the two got there earlier. Josh and Gary were very nice, and helpful, and did a professional job. Gary marked my dampers in the basement, so I’d remember how to set them for summer and winter. He even marked them, so I’d know which went upstairs and which vents were for the main level. I appreciated that Steve came to give me estimate at night when I got off work and came to check on installers. Very happy with them and now will be using them for service too.

I had a A/​C problem that my former HVAC contractor could certainly fix, but when they showed up to my house they refused to go through my system to see what else might be wrong. I because extremely frustrated and decided to call Mission because of a recommendation I had received.
Jeff, the repair technician from Mission, came to the house, listened, and went through my whole system before he spoke to me about a recommendation. The repair was completed in one visit without any issues. Jeff was polite, patient, well-​spoken and extremely professional.
Mission earned a new client this week.

I’ve been using this company for the last 5 years and it is the ONLY company that I have used repeatedly for repairs. Initially only being a heating and cooling company, they were the ONLY company out of 7 that I called who would service my furnace located in my crawl space. They are always on time and they work efficiently so the job doesn’t take too much time out of your day. EVERY person I have worked with or spoken to at this company has been friendly and seems genuinely happy to assist you! My most recent visit was my first use of their plumbing services. Eddie did a fantastic job! With only one bathroom, keeping it serviceable is a MUST in my household. He had the sink working again with no leaks in about 30 minutes. The best part — it works even better than it did when I first installed it! The staff is personable, friendly, and prompt. On top of that, for the service you get, the price can’t be beat! Could not ask for a better heating, cooling & plumbing company!!!
