Specialties

Painted Clover specializes in step-by-step acrylic painting parties. We are 100% mobile, we’ll come set up a class in your home, office, or apartment complex, with all the supplies provided, all you need is tables and chairs! We’ll teach anyone, the young and the old, the techniques to create their own painting!

During the day Painted Clover spends time at senior citizen homes teaching the older generations how to express themselves creatively by learning how to paint! Then, in the evenings we have events for the younger crowd, who need an excuse to get together with their friends and family while having fun, learning something new and creating something beautiful from nothing!

Painted Clover also does Face painting on the side.

History

Established in 2003.

Painted Clover was started by Christa in 2003 when she worked as an activity assistant at a senior citizen home in Lenexa. She saw the lack of stimulation among the residents and decided to start a company teaching one of her life long passions, Painting! Upon doing research she found that only a handful of communities actually offered painting within their communities, but it wasn’t a class where individuals could actually LEARN how to paint! The supplies were merely given to them without guidelines.

Painted Clover realized the need and offered there services to teach the residents how to express themselves using acrylic paint and step-by-step lessons. Each broken down into simple to follow colors, shapes and steps. By following these easy steps, even residents with dementia were able to create beautiful landscapes and impressive still-lives.

In 2011 Painted Clover expanded to include events in offices and homes. Giving a younger crowd more opportunity to learn how to paint.
