I recently went into Shawnee cycle plaza to look at the Yamaha R1M and a sales guy approached me but didn’t really seem to want to sell me anything. He didn’t even introduce himself or ask me for my name… kinda odd and unprofessional for a sales place.
I found the R1M but it was already sold and he didn’t even try to sell me on the regular R1. Granted I realized I came in 15 minutes before they were going to close at 6:30 P.M. but that’s still time to close a deal.
I asked him do you mind if I look around and the sales person said sure but we are closing soon. I was ready to buy but after that comment I decided not too and just browse around.

We purchased our bike from Shawnee Cycle Plaza today. We had been looking for a couple of months, and knew what we wanted. When we got there, Doug came out to greet us right away and after a brief conversation he suggested 3 different bikes to compare. He was right on the money with his suggestion! We bought the 900 Vulcan and couldn’t be happier! We spent time talking to different staff members, and they all shared personal stories that made us feel at home there! There is something to be said for that «personal touch»! We received a great bike for a great deal! We will be back for our next bike!

Thank you for your prompt service on my motorcycle! My husband called you late on a Friday afternoon about an oil change for my Honda. I got the bike there just about 5pm on a Friday and I was able to pick it up about 1pm the next afternoon! Another shop was going to keep my bike for 2 – 3 weeks for the same service — CRAZY!
We’ll always bring both our motorcycles to you for service from now on!

I have never actually bought a motorcycle here but I have had my bike serviced here a couple times. These guys are great. They are always really fast and attentive with their service. I will bring my bike back here anytime it needs work.

They are a friendly bunch of guys. I never have purchased a bike from these guys, but have purchased parts and service. They were helpful, and took the time to help me find the parts I need (even on those strange requests that I sometimes have).
I go out of my way to visit these guys, so it is worth the trip.
