History

Established in 2006.

It all started when a former boyfriend of friend of mine, Adam, was in a terrible burn accident. At the hospital burn unit, he was advised not to use store bought lip balm or lotions containing alcohol. He needed products that would promote healing, rather than just lubrication. A wonderful therapist named Eileen gave me a recipe for lip balm, I researched oils online, and then eagerly got to work. The recipes were huge, so I shared what Adam didn’t use with friends. People kept asking for more! Adam went onto miraculously heal and was set to compete in the Colorado X-​games, when he tragically died in a single car accident. After the accident, I spent time in Dallas with family. In 2006, I moved back to Sheboygan with the vision for a new enterprise, Olivü 426. Why the name? Most of our products contain Olive Oil and Olivü of course sounds like «I love you.» 426 is Adam’s racing number, and a tribute to him and all the close friends he left behind, keeping Adam forever in our hearts.

Business Owner

Caitlin Brotz is a 2005 Lakeland College graduate, having earned her degree in Business Administration. After college, Brotz developed her business, Olivü 426, after preparing lotions and lip balms for her friend who was badly burned in an accident.

In 2006, Brotz opened her boutique located in downtown Sheboygan. Brotz also serves as the current President of The Harbor Centre District. This is downtown Sheboygan, South Pier, and the Riverfront’s Business Improvement District. Brotz is a big fan of doing business in Sheboygan and believes it is a fantastic place to live, work and raise a family.

This is an adorable little place and such a cool concept. You choose the products you want and then add your own scent! You can put in as much or as little scent as you want. Some products come already scented if you prefer, but customizing is the fun part! The prices are reasonable, and the staff is very friendly. Have fun!

My girlfriends and I had a GREAT time here on a Saturday in March 2016. The décor is super cute and the staff friendly, helpful and accommodating. The commitment to using local products is commendable. The selection of scents is amazing. The emu oil lotion is magical. Prices aren’t too bad actually. Wonderful to visit if you have time to doodle around and have a fun experience.

This is yet another good find when wandering the downtown area of Sheboygan.
Olivu 246 is a cute little beauty store front that has products for your skin, face, hair, lips, and anything else you might need. There’s selections that are already bottled and ready to go, or there is a little «test kitchen» so to speak in the back area, where you can make your own blends and scents. I think that’s a pretty cool, unique thing that I definitely don’t have back home.
My girlfriend had previously gotten me lip balms and eye makeup remover from here, but I had never been inside the actual store before. Side note, their makeup remover is FANTASTIC. A little bit goes a long way. I wear heavy pigmented black eye shadow as part of my daily look, and this remover wipes it away like it’s nothing. I was both surprised and impressed, and it’s now my go-​to.
I walked out of this store with a few new lip balms to add to my collection, a lip tint, and a bar of soap that adorably looks and smells like a bomb pop, stick and all.
The only downside was the lack of staff. There was what seemed to be one girl working the counter, and she was on the phone when we came in up until we were ready to check out. She was super apologetic, but I couldn’t tell you anything about any of the oils, or how the back area works, or any properties of anything. That was a bit of a bummer.
Regardless, I’d come back in a heartbeat. It’s worth checking out for sure, and if you wear heavy or dark makeup, I’d check out their remover. It’s awesome.

My friend had told me how amazing Olivu 426’s products were, so I just had to try them myself! I made the hour long drive to their shop in Sheboygan and just fell in love! The staff was very friendly and there were so many products and flavors to choose from! Their lip balm is by far THE BEST. It’s the only lip balm I use!

A friend of my has raved about this place and I was finally in Sheboygan to see it for myself. Even though the place was busy with a large group of kids with their moms, I was greeted quickly after I walked in.
The woman helping me answered all of my question and helped me find products that were right in front of my face. After I picked out my products (a microdermabrasion face wash with lotion for once a week use, and two other face washes for daily use) I went into their kitchen and had a hard time choosing what scent I wanted to put in. There were tons of options, but I settled on eucalyptus spearmint.
If you are in Sheboygan, you MUST stop here for their amazing products that you customize to what you want.

I was given a number of the products as Christmas gifts from my step-​brothers, who grew up in Sheboygan– Kohler area. I absolutely LOVE the Olive Whipped Facial Lotion Moisturizer and the lip balm. I am a chiropractic physician and like to use natural products. My skin has become sensitive now that I am approaching 60 and I had developed rosacea These alcohol-​free and artificial chemical-​free products are
highly recommended by me to patients as well.

I love this store. Being a native to Sheboygan I have had the opportunity to shop and create much loved products in Caitlin’s store. I enjoy the sugar body scrub, and whipped lotion. I am now a fan of the natural deodorant, other deodorants seemed to cause me skin irritation and finally I had a «light bulb» moment and thought to try Olivu, and it works great. I love that I can customize my own scents. Now that I am a mom of three, including twin boys, I have used everything under the sun for diaper rash. I recently contacted Caitlin and told her that I love her bum stick, but would prefer a diaper spray that is safe on cloth diapers and could work agianst diaper rash. After a couple of days Caitilin sent me diaper spray that is safe on cloth or regular diapers and works amazing on diaper rash. Not even the doctor ointment was working for my son, and after a few days of Caitlin diaper spray, my Max was all cleared up. I love this store. The customer service is amazing and Caitlin will make sure you get what you need and want. I also no longer live in Sheboygan, so I have the stuff shipped to me at a low cost and have never had a problem shipping to me or my friends. Thank you so much.

My sister sent me some products as a gift and I can say they all were awesome. The Microdermabrasion Face Wash is the most gentle but effective face scrub I have ever used and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a baby soft feel to their skin. The Rice Bran Moisturizer is another great product. Very light without a greasy feel. And the Tropical Eye Cream is super for the delicate eye area. Very satisfied with all products and definitely will recommend to others.

We happened upon this store completely by accident when we decided to wander up the street after lunch at Field to Fork around the corner. We had gone into Sheboygan just for lunch at the suggestion of one of my clients after spending a couple of days at Kohler Waters Spa, and figured we could spend the rest of the time on our meter looking around. I have to say, I really love this place. This is Sheboygan’s gem.
The owner, Caitlin, greeted us the moment we walked in the door and she is so friendly. She obviously loves her store and wants you to love it too. She gave us the lay of the land and left us to look around a bit. There are jars of lotions and all sorts of different personal care products that you can personalize with aroma you choose from a huge array in the «kitchen.» You can also make your own eyeshadows, nail polishes, lip balm, and smelly jellies (aroma diffusing gel in a jar). We made two lip balms, two avocado body lotions, and one smelly jelly. It was the perfect gift for our dog sitter, and I had so much fun making hers that I couldn’t help but make some for myself too. I especially love that they make all of the products right there in the store, and they are all natural with no parabens or gross chemicals.
Before we left, both Caitlin and the other woman who helped us made sure to let us know about their website where you can actually customize the products and have them shipped to you. Good thing because I’m not planning any trips to Sheboygan in the near future.

My Mom took my sister and I here for some mother-​daughter fun while we were visiting her from out of town. While I was there, I noticed a lot of other moms and daughters so it’s a family friendly place. I bet it would be a really cool place for a girls night out or a bachelorette party, too.
When you first walk in, you’ll see a lot of lotions and potions in any kind of scent you can think of. But that’s not what the real attraction is…
In the back is a kitchen where you can select from hundreds of scented oils you can mix into any hair or skin care product of your choosing. I had so much fun making my own customized sugar body scrub!
This place is truly a gem in Sheboygan. Definitely worth a visit. I live in San Francisco and we have nothing like it here — but I wish we did!

Each time I see the unmistakable brown box with the twine-​like ribbon and little pink flower, my heart flutters in my chest: an entire box filled with Olivu products just for me!
I have recieved delightful gifts from my sister-​in-​law from Olivu for the last couple of years. Most recently, she gave me several items for my bridal shower. While I was already sold on the products (these are top of the line, natural, beutiful products– it is almost unfair how inexpensive they are!), there was one that my husband-​to-​be and I went crazy over: a room and linen spray in a «Clothesline Fresh» scent. We sprayed it on everything. All the time. It was intoxicating; it is light, sweet, and refreshing.
I emailed Caitlin at Olivu to see what other products I could get with this incredible scent. She wrote back within minutes. Minutes after that, we had several new products in our virtual shopping cart, each personalized to our specifications. The most exciting: Clothesline Fresh Perfume!
Living in Chicago. I have not found a store like Olivu. My expectations have been wonderfully exceeded. I apprecate the fabulous customer service, the nearly overwhelming amount of options, and the outstanding quality of every product we’ve used (well over a dozen!).
Let’s hope one day a store can open in Chicago!

I’ve been ordering from Olivu 426 for several years now! I live in Chicago and visit this store ½ times each year so I’m grateful they have a website to order from and ship to chicago. I love the emu oil whipped lotion and body oils! And all of the yummy chapsticks! Every product is made to order –all natural ingredients.
