We think its the best fish fry in town! And the sweet potato fries… Oh my, they are awesome. Friendly, good service and a fun place, even if your older ;)

I was looking to meet up with family at a restaurant that wasn’t your typical beer and burger restaurant. What a great place to have a drink and bite to eat! The restaurant was clean and menu was easy to understand. The variety of the menu was fantastic. Our dinner party all had something completely different, but equally delicious. Service was pretty good. Waitstaff was very well dressed and courteous. Staff should have been a bit more attentive with refills. That is the only reason I’m not giving this place a 5 star review.

This place is really great. Lots of delicious(mainly dessert-themed) cocktails for a reasonable price. My girlfriend and I stopped by after a fantastic dinner at Il Ritrovo, and we did not regret it. She had the Irish Coffee with a shot of Bailey’s and I had the Kinky Frenchman. Despite being stuffed with pizza and other authentic Italian fare, making room for our delicious after dinner drinks was not a problem. Having a buzzed Irishman talk our ears off for thirty minutes was an added bonus.

I’ve never found Urbane to be as appealing as other bars on the street. Their food selection is definitely a step above others, but with smaller venues specializing in certain cuisines, Urbane seems to not have one great«must-have» on the menu. Their is a calm, but loud atmosphere in Urbane. Typically, the age group you’ll see are the entry level employees from Kohler and other businesses nearby. This isn’t your place to watch sports. There are a number of better options down the street(8th St., Legend Larry’s). If you’re in town on a Tuesday night, invite your friends for Trivia nights. There’s always a good crowd.

A nice corner neighborhood bar — good drinks — pretty good food. Most nights the service is great. Love the décor. It is my new go-to place in Sheboygan to kick back and enjoy an evening out.

We stopped in here on a Friday night and luckily found some seats the bar. The drink menu is huge which we both loved! I had the strawberry basil mojito and a blueberry mojito. Both were made with fresh fruit & were awesome! Perfect amount of rum to mixer ratio. My financee also had two drinks and we had the homemade blueberry pie shots which were seriously awesome, they even had real blueberries mixed in! Our total was only $ 30 which was a great price! Would definetly go back if this place was close to home.

We stopped into Urbane on a Friday night, and we were lucky enough to find a spot at the bar. The bartender was incredibly friendly, and made some excellent drinks! The atmosphere was comfortable, music wasn’t too loud, and the crowd was more respectable and upscale than a lot of bars in town. I highly recommend it.

Love this place. The food is hit or miss at times from what others have told me, but I personally have loved every drink and meal!

I recently moved here from Denver and seriously have a hard time when it comes to finding good food, and good drinks, and good service(especially a place with all 3). Urbane makes me so happy! As a bartender who has a lot of experience using fresh ingredients, I commend Urbane on their beautiful(and labor intensive) cocktail menu. The food is fun and well executed and the service is always wonderful. Everyone is happy and smiling and the atmosphere is relaxing, but exciting, and they have large beautiful front windows which open up on warm days/nights. Urbane is a gem! Well done!

A little bit of a vibe like San Diego or California in general. They use a lot of fresh ingredients in their cocktails. Loved stumbling upon this gem! A breath of fresh hipster air, if that makes sense and their playlist was on point. Great experience on a work trip!

In Sheboygan, pretty good work. Urbane is a little more lounge-y than the other bars in town, and we were looking for a nice low-key place to end our night. Decent beer list for Sheboygan and cheap too. Most beers under $ 5, which is a-ok in my book. Bartender saw the look on my face when I received the cheap tab and replied, «That’s Sheboygan». Service was friendly and the bartender made an excellent Moscow Mule. They freshly squeeze the juices so nothing is premade. Sheboygan! The air conditioning was not on when we went and it was a terribly hot and humid night, so it made for a sweat-a-thon. Please turn it on!

Great ambience, awful service. Food tries to be good but totally subpar. The bar staff is attentive then and lazy, more concerned with drinking shots than attending to your needs… waitstaff as well. Was chased out the door for not paying for a drink… which was left off my bill… and then added to it was girlfriends’ two drinks. So disorganized. Blech. I could go on. Go the the Green Room if you want good device and better food.

My first time in Wisconsin and I’m staying at the American Club in Kohler. I head into Sheboygan looking for some local flavor on a Thursday night. The places the concierge suggested look pretty dead. I drive by Urban, the liveliest looking place in Urbane.
I take a seat at the bar and pull out my laptop to do some work. The bartender whips out a board that raises my laptop up above the raised rim of the bar and instantly makes working on my laptop more comfortable. In Sheboygan! The food is really quite good. I had the house salad with a citrus dressing that was just right followed by the special — smothered chicken breast that was topped with grilled veggies and cheese over a bed of spanish rice. The rice and chicken were masterfully spiced — loads of flavor without overshadowing the rice and chicken. I enjoyed a glass of pinot gris from Italy and a red from Chile. Both held up very well. The real surprise and the reason for my 5 star rating was the price. I was shocked to see how little my bill was given the quality of the food. When I commented on the small size of the check, the bartender replied, «This is Sheboygan.» Take advantage of Urbane the next time you are near Sheboygan.

I’ve had Chicken Gyro’s, temporary specialties, and cocktails made with fresh fruits. I have never been disappointed by the value offering from Urbane. Flavored Mojito’s are amazing.

Went here for lunch and ordered a special– beer cheese soup and half a sandwich. The sandwich was small– very small, so it was a good thing the beer cheese soup was filling! Urbane is located right on the corner and I’m surprised they don’t get more business. It was noticeably quiet when we were there, only 1 or 2 people at the bar and one other table was taken. They have a handful of board games for you to try out. We got the Yahtzee, but too many pieces were missing.

I really wanted to like this place(I mean really, I want to like every place) but it was just ok. Husband and I went for lunch. Started with beer cheese soup, which was good and flavorful, but with a few too many croutons on top. I had Italian Beef and husband had a bacon cheeseburger, and we shared. For both, the bun(which I believe was from a local bakery) was too small, and my husband thought stale. Italian beef had pretty good flavor, but was VERY salty(and I am a girl that likes salt). The burger was overdone and not juicy(ordered medium) and kind of blah. The homemade rosemary french fries had good flavor, but were too greasy in my opinion(and like salt, I like fries). Husband thought they were ok. Sever was friendly, but not super attentive. Husband didn’t get refill on his soda even though he could have used one, for example(yes I know he can ask, but server could offer, esp when just after she stopped to clear our dishes she asked at the table next to us). If you only have three tables, not hard to be attentive. So overall, just ok. Prob won’t go back.

Go for the soups alone! Stay for the excellent mixed drinks.(or vice versa;) We had two soups in a row a month or so back and both were very different. One was a clean, fresh, clam chowder that made each ingredient shine, and the flavor of the broth was just amazing. The next day we had the Moroccan stew — another fabulous soup with hearty ingredients and flavors to die for. More recently we had the cream of mushroom soup — which was also very good, but not on par with the other soups for showcasing the chef’s talent. The ‘Ode to Soy’ salad was fun and rather fabulous both times I’ve had it. You really can’t go wrong with it. We also had the crab cakes — which were literally just fried, fresh crab meat. They need to back way off on the salt on these guys, as that was all I could taste. If they did so, they would have an excellent product on their hands. The burgers are also good if you are looking for something a bit more hearty. They did not disappoint. Two thumbs up :) Oh and the drinks are mixed with real fruit juice fresh squeezed when you order. Wonderful! Rock on Urbane:) Though I don’t like all the flies!(from the open windows) and the service, while the ladies are nice, is lacking. I know they are hiring more waitresses.
