Discount Tire Store – Shelby Township, MI

I stopped in this afternoon to get air in my tires and an employee named Ben gave me the worst customer service I’ve ever seen! He told me very rudely to move my car.
I get that it’s very stressful this time of year but you shouldn’t take it out on a customer.
I definitely will not be back here.

Always very good customer service. They are always straight shooters and deliver what they say they will.

I Noticed a screw in my tire late yesterday. And with it being so late, all tire places were closed. I said a prayer that it would make it til the morning, after I dropped my 3 children off at school. On my way over to them, I called and asked how long the wait could be, as I was coming with 2 little ones of the age of 2 years, the gentleman Keith said they were not that busy, maybe it would take 30 minutes, either way I had to get it fix but was very happy at the approximate wait time. I said I was on my way and he responded, drive safe and slow— wow, I really appreciated his genuine concern, props for that!
I arrived with my 2 year old twins and noticed it was quite busy, which made me nervous that I was in for a longer wait than expected.
… 39 minutes later my twins and I were back in our truck with a fixed tire! Are you serious — YES I am! While there, they offer coffee and cold bottled water. When they seen I had a cup of joe in my hand, they quickly brewed me a fresh hot pot, talk about awesome customer service.
Everyone was so kind and friendly, and it seemed all the customers were genuinely happy.
The icing on the cake — they didn’t even charge me!!! What?!? Dave, I’m assuming the manager, just said drive safe. I couldn’t help but give him a hug, yup I threw my arms around him, I was so over come with appreciation and gratitude.
Need a tire place — this is your place. I know it will be mine from now on!

Honest! I never thought I would use that word with a retail business but honest is the perfect word to describe this business.
Last week they fixed my flat. Except throughout the week the tire had a slow leak. I took it back. They said they would take a look at it and find out what’s causing the leak.
The tech came back and explained the initial patch was done incorrectly and cannot be patched again. The tire cannot be saved and because it was their error they will replace the tire. Wow! I’m still in shock because he really could have said anything and forced me to buy a new tire.
Mistakes happen and they owned up to it. I am so impressed. I will never go any place else for tires.
I appreciate their honesty and excellent customer service. Well deserved five stars! Thank you!

Discount Tire in Shelby Township is a great place for your tire needs. I’ve visited to top-​off air pressure or rotate tires (for free!). When it came time to purchase new tires, I price-​shopped Belle Tire, Sam’s Club, and Discount Tire — Discount was the cheapest. Also, when a better rebate option opened up after I had ordered the tires, they called and offered an even better price! They’ve earned our business and trust.

Tires– kind of boring huh? This place gives great service at the best prices hands down. I have a fleet of trucks and used to get everything at Belle Tire but too many times I had salespeople trying to upsell me things I didn’t want. Not that Belle was terrible but at Discount Tire I get the options, benefits, any promotions, and then I make the choice without any pressure. Service has been extremely quick every time I’ve used them (maybe 7 times so far). Free air check and rotations too!

I’m very very very happy with my experiences at this Discount Tire location. I’ve been there a couple times over the last few months. The first time it was for a flattening tire, and they fixed it for me for free. Second time I went it was to get my tires rebalanced due to a wobble I felt when driving over 70 mph, and they rebalanced all four tires also for free. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there’s a starbucks just next door so it’s convenient to just leave the vehicle there and go hang out while having coffee. This place is very busy so it always takes an hour or two to get the work done, but I’m ok with that. It’s only cause they’re super busy, again because they’re great! … Next time I buy tires I’ll buy them from this DT. Good job guys!

Started to shop for tires about a week ago. Called around to get some quotes. This location beat out the local competitor by $ 60 Dollars. Went in Last Saturday to place my order for my tires. Ivan, sales mgr, handled the transaction and scheduled my follow up appointment for install.
Install went very smooth. Had a 10am appointment, and I was out within an hour. No issues with the install and they were very careful with each wheel. No scratches. Will definitely be back again for future tire needs.

Discount is the greatest thing since tires were invented. I’ve had my last 5 cars and trucks serviced there and that doesn’t include two boat trailers and a travel trailer. I’ve purchased both tires and wheels and received excellent emergency service from my home shop and from shops in two other states as well. I tell everyone meet about the excellent service I’ve received. You can’t beat the best!!!

As always Discount Tire earns my business, with there positive staff & honesty.
Stopped by for the free flat repair, on my 2001 Pontiac Aztek which has 198,756 miles.
As Jake walked to the truck he saw the screw shining in the sun.
He inspected each & every tire, pulled me up on the computer as a regular, said, your up 2^nd.
A short time later they pulled it in, fixed it & did not try to up sell or anything & each gentleman that worked there was outgoing/​positive & kind

I went in to get a blowout fixed and Tony really helped me out a lot. He found a used tire to sell me so I walked out of the store having paid less than half the price of a new tire installed.
I have always been impressed by the service at Discount Tire and this location is no exception. I recommend it highly and I am quite sure that you won’t find a better service in the Shelby township area.
The customer service and features offered by Discount Tire in my mind are the most efficient use of money you would already have to spend on tires.
