In reading the negative reviews It seems like these people were talking about the wrong place. Packard grill has the longest list of sandwiches on the menu that I have seen in the area. Their New Yorker is amazing, so is their patty melt. My husband loves the omelette served any time of day. Their Asian salad is really good too. Food is very reasonably priced as well. They also play cool music on the radio. Great place for a sandwich.

Nice bartender but won’t ever be back. Chicken pita came with nothing but chicken, lettuce and tomato. The bartender never came to ask if I needed anything so I ate it dry. Never got a refill on the pop. There were only 3 total people at the bar. The staff are club keno players and spend more time playing and watching the game. I can’t recommend.

We walked in to an empty hostess stand and a sign to seat ourselves, no problem. After waiting for twenty minutes, not a single person greeted us and we decided to leave and take our business elsewhere. Very dissatisfying experience, will definitely not be going back or recommending that place to anyone.

Hi there burger fans I just found a new place for some great big old meaty ½ lb burgers. The Packer grill, surprise yea that’s what I said wow. Tasty tasty tasty. Stack high and made to order. You name it you get it. Great service and the outside patio seals the deal. Enjoy yourself and save yourself some money.

The waitress is very nice… there’s, and there’s Karaōke. The prime rib(the big block) had a lot of fat. The salad wasn’t fresh. Hopefully it’s just one time I got a bad luck there.

Be sure to ask about prices before you order. Went to the Packard Grill on a Saturday night with some friends to see a band. The music was awesome, we sat all the way in the front near the bar area. The décor is pretty standard for a bar restaurant and nothing special. I decided to order a bacon cheeseburger and some onion rings. Both were average. The burger came with lettuce, pickles and tomatoes on the side. The bun was very good. The waitstaff was fairly attentive for how busy the bar was. Instead of ordering individual beers, my friend suggested we split a pitcher of Labatt’s. The first went down well, so we ordered a second. These were standard bar sized pitchers(60 oz, I think). After the second pitcher, we decided to call it quits. I got my bill and it was more than $ 40. I looked more closely and saw that each pitcher was $ 15. I checked with the waitress to see if this was correct and she verified it. I guess I should have asked, but I figured«what’s the most a pitcher of Labatt’s could cost? The answer is $ 15. Another friend was charged $ 8 for a 12oz domestic draft beer. With the exception of the prices, it is a nice bar. I have eaten and drank here before, and the food was better than average and the drinks were reasonably priced at that time. I guess things have changed.

I think this place is called the Packard Grill because most of the clientele actually drove Packards. There are some old folks in this place, and I’m 49; so take that for what it’s worth. My wife and I stopped in for dinner one night and the food was okay, but not great. I had a steak and my wife had a salad. The service sucked, but I think we got a new server. This is a lot of stuff all over the place, like laminated info. Weird and cluttered with a goofy layout. I guess the old people dig this place, but we probably won’t be back.

Always wondered as its on my daily route, well looking for a place to have a pop & listen to a band, this past Saturday 9−27−14 was the nite The Packard Grill is a theme bar named after the legendary car-factory which stood about 100 yards away. The menu has many listings that are car terms Drive Train Hubcap Etc To our surprise they make the onion rings & batter in house, and the price 15 for $ 6 was very worthy Also the wings appetizer was good 8 for $ 7.95 Monica our server was a hoot & local legend, as she has been there for years. The Band: Note & Leaves were very entertaining, as we listened to them for about 90 minutes, then retired outside with another couple to enjoy the fire pit and have a beverage or two. All in all very good & we will go back for meal someday.

I’ve been going here for many years. I love the food. The service is usually great, a couple times I went and got poor service, but most of the time the food comes out hot, fast and delicious and the server is friendly. I like that they have events like karaōke and psychic readings. It’s fun!

We had a meeting here on Sunday. I had called the night before to give the staff a heads up. Turned out to be only 12 people, not the 15 – 20 I expected. Packard Grill handled it well, even though it was obvious there would be another, larger, party arriving soon after us. I had corned beef, fries and a salad. Everyone else’s food looked good and I heard no complaints about it. The only thing I heard/saw was the waitress forgot to refill the people who had coffee. I’m pretty sure we will be returning at some point!

Was here last week to see a band. They were good, and so is Packard Grill — I haven’t eaten here in a while, but the service is great. I ordered wine and they didn’t skimp on the pour. Great place to see a band! Good crowd of people. It was fun, I’ll definitely get be going back!

Yes, there are old people doing karaōke… but if you overlook that… or not, because it was AWESOME. It’s a combo family restaurant/bar. Weird, I know. Food was traditional but tasty. I fed my Polish self with some delicious stuffed cabbage. Huge portions for the price. My hubs had the ribs, meh. Others liked their fried goodness. Draft beer was $ 1.50 for a 12oz. Can’t beat that. Service was excellent too. I wouldn’t make a destination of it, but will prob be back since my temporary living situation is around the corner.

I’m not sure that I would call this a sports bar. Felt more like a neighborhood bar than anything. There were several TVs on, but no actual sports on them. I realize that it was a Tuesday night with no «big» sports games going on, but no ESPN News or anything? Choices were Seinfeld, CNN, and some C Grade show that I couldn’t place. That aside, the ambiance isn’t terrible for Shelby Township. Strand Christmas lights and music that I’m pretty sure was coming from an actual boombox hidden from obvious site. It appeared that the majority of the clientele were«regulars», but I felt welcome enough. Food was pretty good, just not worthy of 3 or 4 stars. However, the sweet potato fries were pretty outstanding(even for sweet potato fries).
