I typically stop here on my way to or from Charlotte since the has is cheaper. I prepaid inside and bought a bottle of water. I stopped well before the prepaid amount and went inside to get a receipt and refund on my card. I was not given a receipt and told the posted amount on my account would be what I actually pumped plus the water. I have had a similar situation occur in gas stations all over the country, with the only exception being this time I did not get a receipt. Nearly two weeks and several unanswered phone calls (they don’t answer the phone at all I’m their store), and several emails to corporate I have received no help and have had to take the matter up with my bank. I think it’s unbelievable that a store could be allowed to go unchecked in this manner. The bathroom was clean but had no soap and the young lady behind the counter was surly at best. At this point I am forced to conclude she was running some type of scam and I just happened to be fool enough to unwittingly assist her.

If I’m in the area, I’ll stop here and grab gas or a hamburger. They’re actually not bad for a quick hamburger and are made to order by being through a pizza oven. We’re not talking a great hamburger, but far better than you’ll find at many places. Anyways, they’re always super nice and friendly here although they do charge to use a debit card if the purchase is under five dollars, which is a pet peeve of mine because often I’ll stop at places just for an Arizona or a Peace Tea.
