Cute little place and everyone is super nice. I like the dirty chia latte here and had an egg /​cheese biscuit– very delicious! I have had the muffins before & they look better than they taste, so just order food instead.

The food was delicious, and the décor was very pleasant. I gained 3 pounds just staring at the deserts. I will be back.

If every county seat had A Coffee Break shop, the world would be a little better place. When I came into town, I had 15 minutes and a strong need for caffeine. I found Coffee Break in downtown Shelbyville on the south side of the town square, and found friendly faces ready to serve. I asked for a favor, and they readily helped me out.
Their Peppermint Patty coffee drink was great. Peppermint just suits coffee well, in my mind. The price was good. The store itself is clearly what used to be an alley that was closed up with a front and back, and the brick walls on either side, gave it a rustic charm.
I wish this place was in Nashville: it’s that good.
