Nestled away comfortably near the border of Burnett and Washburn counties lies Bashaw Lake Resort. Once you find this gem, slightly off the beaten path, be prepared to be greeted with northern Wisconsin hospitality. David and Ellen met us like we were regulars at the local watering hole and gave us the complete tour. We booked our stay early for the prime season (July). The cabin was quaint and modestly furnished which was perfect for our getaway week. Good fishing and row boats are mere feet away from the cabin.
