I didn’t realize I had gotten the worst manicure of my life until two days after when almost all of my «tips» began breaking off. I should’ve known she wasn’t sure what she was doing with my nails when she couldn’t even find the right size tips for my nails. Although I do have very small nails, I’ve never had someone file them too much to where they were just a little too small and don’t reach the edge. She also kept painting layers of nail glue all over my nail and sprinkled some sort of powder that I guess resembles acrylic on my nails. Anyway, they weren’t shaped correctly, nail glue all over my skin, nail polish all over my skin and uneven on the nails. Although she was extremely nice, I just feel like I got ripped off. I asked for tips, acrylic, with gel or polish. If that isn’t something that you know how to do or feel comfortable doing, then please send me somewhere else. So disappointed with this $ 50 manicure. Coming from someone who has been getting all sorts of things done to her nails for well over 10 years, please go elsewhere and treat yourself to a REAL manicure. I just wasn’t happy with this salon therefore I will never be going back.

Where to begin? I have curly hair that I am very fussy with. I’m one of those people who like to know what is happening behind my head. I finally found a place where I can get a haircut and not be worried about the outcome. All the stylist are very nice. Ruby has been cutting my hair for a few years now! Also, she threads eyebrows too! Amazing find on this Bridgeport Ave.
Lastly, the nail section. i decided to have shellac put on for the Christmas season, wanted nice fresh looking nails. They last TWO weeks! Unheard of for my nails! So I called and wanted to do it again, sadly no one could. So I went somewhere else. Probably the worse move ever! After 3 weeks I went back and they couldn’t get the ‘shellac’ off that I had done somewhere else. The ‘shellec’ the other salon used ruined my nails. Michael Richard Salon was very nice and did everything they could to save my nails. I now call in advance to make sure I can get an appointment and avoid the other salon at all costs!
I look forward to visits here and can’t wait to go back :)
