We went to Roberts Carpet when we needed to replace the carpet in our new house. We visited the showroom on a Saturday with a good idea of the type of carpet that we were looking, but not really knowing the process. The showroom was pretty quiet but that was good for us since we wanted to spend some time really going through the carpet samples and asking a lot of questions. We were helped immediately by the store manager. he listened to what we wanted and guided us to the aisles that had our options and informed us of the various products and quality. Then he explained how the process for re-carpeting would work. From that we were able to choose samples to take home with us and choose from before making our final decision. The manager then came to our house at a later scheduled date to take measurements. The following weekend we came back to the store to discuss our choice and go over the cost estimate. It was right in the budget that we had estimated on our own. It took about 2 weeks between the day we signed the paperwork and the day that they came in to re-carpet. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of the carpet and with the quality of the work done. Even after a few months, the carpet has not shown any signs that it was installed incorrectly. Our only complaint, which complaint may even be too harsh of a word, was that we wish that we didn’t have to clean up after the workers. We feel that they should have cleaned up at the end of each day. But in the long term, I will forget that little detail and will be happy with my well installed carpet. It would also have been a nice touch for us to have received a follow-up phone call to ask how we felt about the service, but that’s not really a big deal either. I’m just happy that everything was installed correctly the first time. All in all, we can definitely recommend Roberts Carpet. If we decide to get our floors done then they will be our first choice as well.
