Meet the Business Owner

Ronald and Maria B.

Business Owner

Both Ronald and Maria Brown were born and raised in Jefferson County, WV and graduated from Jefferson High School. Ronald graduated from Nashville Auto Diesel College in 1983 and attended Shepherd College for business courses. Ronald is an ASE Certified Truck Technician, as well as, a Master ASE Certified Auto Technician. Maria received a BS degree in Accounting from Shepherd College in 1989. Ronald wanted to bring a state-​of-​the-​art repair facility to his home town of Shepherdstown. In 1986, he rented two shop bays from a local businessman and opened «Mechanical Services» repair garage. In 1988, he purchased the building and location, added to his staff, and purchased a tow truck to enhance his business. After Ronald and Maria were married in 1989, Maria joined Ronald as co-​owner and office manager. In 1994, they updated the entire busines and changed the name to «Brown’s Tire, Towing & Auto Care Center, Inc.» They still remain as the area’s state-​of-​the-​art repair facility!
