Taste European Deli

Loved this place and I keep forgetting to review! The lady was so nice and helped us pick out an awesome selection of real European beers to try! Yes they were more expensive than, say, a case of the Silver Bullet but they are imported and freakin delicious. They do not taste like funky, carbonated water. Plus, as the owner reminded us, it’s «real» beer and there’s a liiiittle bit more alcohol to be found in these puppies. I can’t wait to go back to pick up some pickles and meats to try out! There was also a small selection of Polish/​German/​etc ingredients available that I didn’t recognize but would love to experiment with.
The hours are a little odd to me so check them before you make a trip. I feel like it’s that way around here with other establishments of this sort.
One thing that did hang us up a bit was that we had to pay cash. I can’t remember if that was because of some problem that day or if it’s just not accepted. It was still no big issue. I perused the beer while my husband went to grab cash. She even stayed open a teensy bit later to wait for him.
AND –don’t be jealous– I happen to live quite close! But it would be worth a trek for me if I didn’t!

This is quaint spot. The lady is super nice but the selection is limited. If you live in this area of town then it should satisfy what you’re looking for. The best part is they have a connected business that sells Polish beers, which is one of the few places I know of to get certain Polish beers. It’s certainly a perk but it’s also cash only.

Nevermind the «deli» part. Let’s get to what this little place is all about: «Real Beer!» Yes, this little place carries some of the best beer I have ever had and what’s interesting is that it’s the only place in the city that carries it. Black Boss, Perla, Lomza, Zywiec, Grand Imperial Porter. Pure deliciousness.
And the owner is one of the sweetest, funniest characters you will ever meet. The first time we me her, she asked if we liked «real beer» as though what we had been drinking the whole time was somehow fake beer. We were like, «Um, sure, we like ‘real beer.’» Her: «No, I mean REAL BEER.» And that’s when she proceeded to showcase all of the great beers she carried. After that first purchase, my wife and I knew exactly what she meant by «real beer.» High ABV and truly great quality unlike any beer we had ever tasted.
It’s a bit of trek to get down that way and traffic goes very slowly. But in the end, it’s completely worth it. My only complaint is that we don’t get down there enough. Love this place.

Only distinctly Polish Store for food and juices in the Denver area. The selection is fairly good and the owner even gave me the addresses of liquor stores that carried hard to find polish beers. The address is actually 8349 South Federal across from Aprapahoe Motors on the right side of the street. The hours are from 11am-​5pm M-​F and 11−3pm on Saturdays.
