ACT-​1 is an educational organization founded in 2008, dedicated to providing a safe and creative environment for young adults ages 7 – 18. The Academy’s goal is to help develop well rounded actors, singers and dancers. We recognize and respect the uniqueness of each child and feel it’s important to get to know each and every child on a very personal basis. We feel that providing a high quality and creative learning experience in the theatre arts will contribute to your child’s personal growth and carry them through life.

Our students learn voice, dance, and acting, culminating in a quality performance with Broadway-​style sets, costumes, lights, etc!

In the process, our students:

* Build their self confidence

* Learn to work in a group and interact with their peers

* Learn to trust and depend on others

* Strengthen listening skills

* Speak in front of a group

* Make life-​long friendships!

History

Established in 2008.

After the success of ACT-1’s first production, SEUSSICAL: THE MUSICAL, Chera and Sierra decided to keep working together to produce the highest-​quality children’s theatre in the Valley.
