Curriculum includes:

* Classical or Traditional Notation– the ability to read music

* Ear Training — Being able to hear a piece of music and play it back without sheet music

* Theory– the study of what is going on behind the music, what gives music it’s depth. Traditional/​Classical and Jazz theory are taught and can be applied to most styles

* Technique — the fundamental building blocks of a professional musician

* Chords and the Nashville System

* Songwriting & Composition– Melody & Chord Structure, Lyric Writing

* Arranging/​Production

* Advanced Performance Skills and College Prep: Skills necessary for use when branching out past playing at home; training for advanced levels for those who want to be a career musician

History

Established in 2005.

Renee started training and investing into the next generation of musical talent with piano lessons. She taught while getting her bachelor’s degree at the world-​renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston MA. Since then, she has had the opportunity to mentor hundreds of musicians of all skill levels, all ages, and from all over the world in piano, music theory, songwriting, and the art of performance.
