Dr. Leo Labunsky

My family and I have been patients of Doctor for many years. One of the most difficult times for our family was when our beloved Mother got very ill. Dr. Labunsky was so supportive of my family emotionally that being able to reach out to him for reassurance and support was a tremendous help. He is one of the kindest people I know and value him not only as a Medical Doctor but someone to count on when you need answers you may not have.

Dr Labunsky has been my doctor for over 20 years. He is so caring, understanding and knowledgeable. He listens and does a thorough exams in making sure all is ok. The staff is amazing. Just a great great office. I HIGHTLY RECOMMEND DR Labunsky. Thank you Dr Leo. :)

Dr. Labunsky is great. His bedside manner is wonderful and he is honest. He tries to figure out what your condition is rather than writing a prescription for a drug and telling you to take it and follow up later. I had an MRI and found that I have a lot of cysts on my brain. One neuro said it was nothing and that I just needed to exercise more. He gave me a preventative medicine rather than trying to figure out what was causing the cysts. So, Dr. Labunsky sent me to different neuro who was much better. She went through my MRI with me and pointed out some of the things she saw and explained what they could be. I felt more at ease. Definitely recommend Labunsky if you are really in need of a good doctor who cares.

I have been a patient of Dr. L. for the past three years after my doctor of 12 years passed away. Dr. L. was referred to me by one of my other doctors.
Dr. L. is a very caring and compassionate doctor. He stays current on new medical techniques and treatments. He is willing to refer me to a specialist when there are some questions about my symptoms. He actually hears what I am saying and answers my questions. Also, he displays the humane side of being a doctor.
Leticia and Ed and Myra do an excellent job. Leticia runs the front office so smoothly. The lab technician is also very efficient.
It’s difficult in this time and age to find a competent medical support team. I was fortunate to find this one.

It seems from the document we have been provided with from both the hospital and nursing home that he did not interact with his patient very much. It appears from the documents that he made infrequent visits to the nursing home and produced illegible and messy records. When we or other doctors tried to communicate with him or his office, he often would not return a call or provide very minimal information.

Dr. Labunsky is the best! His bedside manner is wonderful. He really takes the time with each of his patients. Not only is he very warm and caring but he is a brilliant doctor. For example, I went to one of the best dermatologists in LA for a horrible skin condition that had been plaguing me for weeks that the expert dermatologist failed to diagnose correctly. I gave up and went to Dr. Labunsky and Dr Labunsky took his time and considered everything carefully and diagnosed me correctly. Prescribed medicine and I felt better within 24 hours! He is the BEST! I love him!

I like coming here sometimes the wait is a bit long but the staff is VERY nice and Dr. Labunsky is the BEST! He is caring understanding and never tries to up sell his services like other doctors do. The office itself is old and the lobby is a bit rundown but other than that I like everything else.

Nice to hear there’s no waiting in the office, I couldn’t make it past reception. Called twice over the span of a few hours and was put on hold for about 5 minutes each time before hanging up. Unfortunately I don’t have the time to sit on the phone all day waiting around, wish I had the opportunity to review an actual visit.

So happy with my new family practice Dr. Labunsky. When it comes to your doctor it’s so important to find someone you feel comfortable with. I just had my yearly physical and the doctor himself called me with the results, very personable and shows he cares. I highly recommend him and his friendly staff.

My fiancé came in to see Dr. L and he was very glad he did. He took his time with him and listened and prescribed the necessary medications for his condition. So far so good! Highly recommend. I don’t have great insurance yet but when I do I am going with this doc! My fiancé loved the fact that everything was smooth to getting in to see the doctor right away and a lab being right next to the office made it convenient as well!

Dr Leo is great, takes the time to go over everything with you. Since the first visit till this visit he has always taken the time to answer any question. His staff is all great as well

I pulled a muscle in my back and was in incredible pain. As I didn’t have a regular primary care physician in LA I called all over to doctors in my health plan that seemed to have good reviews. After 10 phone calls, Dr. Labunsky’s office said they could see me the next morning. The staff was pleasant, wait time minimal, and Dr. Labunsky himself was very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely go back to him for all of my primary care needs, and will have my husband go as well.

As it relates to my healthcare, changing my doctor to Dr Labunsky was the best decision I’ve made. I was with same doctor for 7 years. She was just horrible, but I have very few needs, and tolerated the bad experiences because I thought I preferred a female MD. Dr Labunsky is patient, compassionate and good listener. Imagine that, a doctor who listens! I highly recommend him.

I’m currently living in Woodland Hills for 6 months while I am doing an internship. My aunt routinely sees Dr. Labunsky. The first week I came down to the valley I got terribly sick with food poisoning. He saw me the SAME day I called in.
Two weeks ago I ended up getting an infected bug bite and he prescribed me an anti-​biotic. As he was writing the prescription, he asked me if I got yeast infections and would like a prescription! What an incredibly smart doctor. I once saw a FEMALE doctor years ago that neglected to tell me that when you’re on anti-​biotics you can get yeast infections. Dr. Labunsky is truly on top of his game. He really genuinely cares about his patients and he is so kind and patient.
I’m going to be so sad when I leave LA in 6 months and not have such an amazing doctor.
I highly recommend this doctor if you want to be treated like a human being and not a number/​money profit within the healthcare system.

well this had to be one of the fastest, most efficient, and pleasant trips to the doctors office ever. It was my first time going to dr. labunsky and I just picked him from my insurance list because he was the closest and they fit me in the next day. So not only did they fit me in so quickly but I didnt have to wait more than 5 min in the waiting room!!! Yeah, you heard me. The nurse’s name is Ed and he is so great. He was such a nice guy and took care of me efficiently and quickly. I didnt have to wait in the exam room either. The nurse had to do an x-​ray on me and instead of having me wait for the machine to be avail he went on to have me do my blood work and other things that needed to get done while we waited, instead of others office’s that would have me sit there and wait for the x-​ray machine, then go onto the other things. When Ed was done there was maybe a minute inbetween him leaving and when the Doctor came into the room. Dr. Labunky is a very nice personable man, with a deep (imnguessing polish) accent. He knew all of my other doctors (which is a great sign because I have top doctors) and he was concerned and positive about my health. I will def go back to him. Boy did I luck out finding such a good and nice doctor so close to my house. thank you Ed and Dr, Labunsky!

This is the best M.D. I have ever come across. Dr. Labunsky is a positively brilliant doctor with excellent bed side manner. He really cares about his patients and never treats them like a number. I never feel rushed because he takes his time… and I have never had to wait in the waiting area for more than 5 minutes. Thanks Dr. Labunsky!
