We are a highly experienced A TEAM of experts specializing in treatment of all aspects of speech /​language therapy and learning disabilities. We use many specialized programs, such as Lindamood Bell or Language. We not only work 1:1 or small group, but also provide a full range of educational services from evaluations, advocacy at IEP Meetings, Homework support, and are available for all of your educational questions while you are under our care. Professionals on the A TEAM each have their own specialty and most have 20 – 30 years experience.

Established in 1982.

Farryl Dickter has worked as a professional in the field for over 30 years and began her private practice in Sherman Oaks when she became a mom, in 1982.

Manager

Farryl Dickter is both a licensed speech-​language therapist and a professional educational therapist who is an expert on the link between oral communication and literacy. She has worked with children 2 – 22 years of age, who have all types of speech, language, or learning challenges, and has provided services for over 30 years. Ms. Dickter has presented at numerous national and state professional conferences and has provided staff workshops for many local private and public schools. Ms. Dickter has worked in hospitals and schools, has trained other professionals in clinical and college settings, and has served on the board for the Association of Educational Therapists. She currently leads a private practice in Sherman Oaks.
