History

Established in 2011.

My sister suggested that I start teaching Zumba Fitness because she thought it would be a perfect fit for me. My Latin Ballroom & hip hop background along with my experience motivating party-​goers to dance over the years, really is the perfect mix. I love watching students sweat like crazy, burn calories, and learn new dance steps, all while laughing and making new friends!

Gina’s classes are the best! Whether you take her lessons at LA Ballroom Studio or 24 Hour Fitness, they’re all fun and a great workout. Her classes are good for every level of dance, ranging beginner to advanced dancer. She mixes up the choreography with multiple styles of music, but is easy to follow and pauses to explain if she sees people are having a hard time with a certain step. I look forward to her classes every week. I even forget that it’s a high level of exercise since I’m busy enjoying myself.

Gina is absolutely amazing!
I’ve taken Zumba classes at several different 24 hr locations but hers is by far the best and I continually try to make my work schedule so I can go to her uplifting, fun, energetic classes. Her class has a mix of music, movement, and age ranges so the diversity is all around great. Every time I leave the class I leave with a smile because her regulars are awesome and new people are always welcome. I wish she could teach 7 days a week at different times so I could try to make it more often with my hectic work schedule. Highly recommend.

I absolutely LOVE GINA! She is really an amazing Zumba instructor. Her music makes you move your body in ways that you didn’t even know you could move!!! Music ranges from hip hop, salsa, hula etc. She has such a positive and joyful energy about her. She takes you through the dance steps and is so patient and I never feel awkward or self conscious. In fact, taking her classes have given me more confidence, I feel like a dancer and I can act silly and just have a good time!
I highly recommend trying one of her classes, you’ll be hooked like me!

I’ve tried several fitness classes only once, too intimidated by the instructor to go back a second time. I started attending Gina’s Zumba classes in March of this year, and I’ve gone back nearly every week. She’s very accommodating to people that want to try Zumba for the first time. I have zero rhythm or coordination and I’m not even embarrassed anymore… she wants everyone to learn and have fun. Thanks, Gina!

Gina Rogers is beyond wonderful as a Zumba instructor. She is very friendly, always smiling and her body movements are easy to follow. Of course she is a phenomenal dancer, so just watching her dance is like watching a great Broadway dancer on stage. She makes every move in class seem fun and stylish.
Gina has a superb teaching technique for dance, making it joy to learn from her. She has a lot of range in her music playlist and there is something for everyone: hip hop, salsa, tango, cha cha cha, Broadway, etc…
For someone like me (with two left feet) she has made me feel that even I can bust out a hip swivel every now and then! Plus she gets us to burn through hundreds of calories and yet feel elated, rather than exhausted, by the end of the hour!

Ginas zumba class at LA Ballroom 14 261 Ventura Blvd, Sherman Oaks is amazing. I take her Tuesday morning class at 10:30. I have been taking her class for about a year. Im learning so much from her. She is a great instructor. So fun and has this amazing energy. I get to dance and get a great work out. I leave felling so uplifted.

I took this class last week and the week before at the LA Ballroom (I think it is a new studio the people that worked there were really nice0. The Zumba class was AWESOME. Way better than the ones at my gym. I actually sweat and I felt like I was dancing, not just doing Zumba. The instructor Gina was spry and fun, she kept the whole class motivated no matter what your level was. She was so cute and energetic and kept me going! I like to really work out in class, and I got my workout.

Gina is the best! She makes her classes fun and she’s so encouraging that it takes a full hour for my body to realize that. It’s. Old. Thank you, Gina, for making me feel young again :) I absolutely hate boot camp instructors. On the other hand, saccharine sweet is painful too. Gina walks the line: sweet, positive, funny. Definitely take her class!
