Green Towing

I recently got a tow from Green Towing Los Angeles and they did an awesome job. I called different companies and derek gave me the lowest price hands down. They showed up really quickly and towed my car off the freeway to my house with no problems at all. green towing is a true professional and it was pretty obvious that he had lots of experience towing cars. I’ve heard some pretty bad towing stories and I’m just really thankful that the driver handling my car knew what he was doing. If I ever need a tow again, or any kind of roadside assistance, I will be sure to call these guys :)

I don’t live in Sherman Oaks (I’m from Los Angeles) but I still had to write about this company. 2 days ago I broke down on the 101 fwy at 2 o’clock in the morning. Needles to say I was freaking out, both from being stuck on the frwy and from the fact that I’m about 15 miles from home, which means that I’m gonna have to pay a fortune for the tow. But first I just wanted to get someone out to help ASAP.
I called around to several companies, but they all gave me ETA’s of at least 60 minutes, except for Green Towing Sherman Oaks, whose drive got out to me within 15 minutes! The driver was so understanding when I explained to him that I really can’t afford to have my car towed all the way home, that he suggested that he’ll tow my car to a nearby shop for much less than what it would cost me take it home, and he’ll wait with me until my wife will come to pick me up.
Sure enough, he stayed with me until she arrived and took my car to a shop, which fixed the car for really cheap as well. That just shows you how a company can also be great with customer services and save you a lot of money. I will you these guys again for sure.

Took a little while to get there, BUT once SAM my service men showed up, he fixed replaced my flat with my spare tire in 10min tops. Thank Goodness for this 24hr service, and the voucher I was also able to purchase!

THE WORST!!!
$ 200 to tow from Van Nuys to Northridge. An absolute ripoff. They took advantage of us when we were in a bad situation. Shop around before you need a tow so that you don’t get stuck. Get the roadside assistance from your insurance company for a couple bucks a month — because when you get caught in a bind you do not want to end up just calling a random place because your cell phone is dying and you don’t have time to search for a good place and have to use the first google result. RUN RUN RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

THE SERVICE WAS +A! I called Green Towing at 2:30 am because my car started to over heat while driving on the freeway. The dispatch personal was very professional and helpful. They were able to send a tow truck out to me in 15 minutes. The technician loaded my Mercedes S-​550 quickly and safely within no time. I was very pleased with everything including the price. They gave me the lowest rate out of every two company I called. I will defiantly use them again if I ever need another tow.

Do NOT use this towning company if you are paying for the tow yourself without insurance coverage. They are more than twice the cost of other services and when I tried to talk to the management about the incredibly high fees they were rude, dismissive, and shady. The guy driving the tow truck was nice and competent enough, but whoever is managing the company is definitely a crook who has no compunction about taking advantage of someone who is broken down by the side of the freeway. I wish I could give them a negative five stars.

They took the car right a way to my mechanic who took care of their charges with the insurance payment.

This is the worst business that I have ever came across!!! Do NOT use them. They are rude and DISHONEST!!! I was on the 405 and my car lost all power. They said they would have a driver to me in 5 to 10 minutes. The driver showed up 50 minutes later and charged me $ 265 for a 6 mile tow. When I called out the driver for this absurd price, he played dumb. So I called the operator and she played dumb. Do NOT use this place!!!

Jon and Iran quite literally saved my daughter! My dear, sweet teenage daughter locked the keys on the car on the side of the road up in Pacific Palisades when she went for a hike. She was stranded with low battery on her cell phone in the middle of the hills alone with the only car in the family. Jon sent Iran out right away and got her into the car and safely on her way FAST, CHEAP and HONESTLY.

My Nissan altima left driver side tire blew out, i could have changed the tire myself but i was going to a dinner and my dinner reservations was at 6 pm. This happened around 5 pm, so I called three different tow companies and each one had an excuse about costing me extra to receive fast service and i didn’t have much cash, then another company told me it would take like an hour for the technician to arrive and then i called Green Towing Los Angeles who gave me a decent price for my tire change and I explained to the dispatch man that I had a very important dinner reservation and was kind of in a hurry and he completely understood my situation and said his technician Joe would take less than 20 minutes to be at my location. Sure enough Joe showed up a few minutes later changed my tire and within 15 minutes I was off to my dinner reservation. I have to thank Green towing Los Angeles for the excellent service they provide, I recommend green towing to anyone.

The worst. Do not call. Overpriced. I won’t waste your time with the whole story, but trust me, nightmare pricing.

Great service and customer service.

This is the worst towing service ever. They quoted me $ 50 on the phone and when they arrived, said it would be an additional $ 50 charge for labor. I asked over the phone if there would be any additional changes outside of $ 50 and they said there would not be.
The driver arrived 30 minutes late and when I called to cancel (a tow truck from a different company arrived first), they would not let me cancel my order, saying 20 minutes had past since the time of my call and this was against their cancellation policy, when actually only 16 minutes had passed.
I would not call this company again. Note, in a Google search for Los Angeles towing, Culver City towing, etc. this company will come up as the first result without mentioning the name of the actual business. This place provided THE WORST customer service possible.

I’d give this piece of shit business a (–100) if I could. I was quoted $ 65 for them to come out, and $ 5 for each mile from my location. [$ 65 + ($ 5×25 miles)] = $ 190. I asked them if they took credit card, and they said yes. Great.
The wait time was approximately 15 min.
Green towing outsources their tow to various independent tow companies. Unfortunately for me, I got this one SHADY Israeli guy TIK TAK TOW (green flatbed truck). He asked me to pay him $ 250 for the tow WTF — bait and switch. I asked him I was quoted $ 190 by Green Towing and he said it was his service charge.
I was in a bit of a hurry and didn’t want to wait any longer (already waited 2 hours just trying to get the car working myself). I regretfully talked him down to $ 225 — which was bad on my part to begin with and should’ve just waited and went with another company.
When I arrived at my destination, Avi (the driver) wanted to charge me an extra 5% for using my credit card! Another WTF moment, since there was never mentioned of the fee whatsoever!
This greedy conniving shitbag really puts a bad rap on tow truck drivers. I would highly recommend you either wait a bit longer to find another tow truck company or pay slightly more for better service than to feel rip off with cheap service.

Yes, I’m very vocal about horrible services. And this one takes the cake for 2011. On one cold Sunday evening I got a flat tire. I quickly pulled a Google search on my phone and Green Towing came to view. I decided to call them (unfortunately) and they said they’d be out in 15 minutes. They also told me it’d be $ 50 charge. I thought, no problem, that sounds about right.
Unbeknownst to me, that’s a $ 50 charge to just go out there. There’s an additional $ 125 charge to change the tires! Talk about a wallet raping.
Fast forward 90 minutes later (yes, an hour and half later) my supposed savior arrives… in a shady beat up red mini van from the 80’s. WTF?!?
The guy who shows up looks like he’s more of a pool cleaner than some locksmith. Yes, you heard that right. He’s a locksmith, who also does road side assistance on the side (in fact, the receipt says Locksmith Co. Double WTF?!?).
To add insult to injury, it takes him 10 minutes to figure out how to use his newly bought car jack, and the cheapo air pump he uses to put some air on the other tire (that was also unknowingly low on pressure) is the kind you’d get at the Dollar store (yes, the one that plugs in your car cigarette lighter and takes 1 minute to gain 1 PSI).
Fortunately, State Farm’s road side assistance is reimbursing me for this, but the next time, please, send in at least someone who’s competent and someone who’s not that late. For that price they charged me, I expect some decent professionalism. But from the reviews of other people, this seems to be the norm. The only thing green about this company is the rotting stench of horrible misrepresentation of a service.

This place was fast, affordable but most of all extremely friendly. They said they’d be at my house in a half of an hour and they arrived 10 mins early than expected.
They hooked up the car and placed it in my driveway in a matter of minutes. They saved me so much money because had it stayed on the street, I would’ve been ticketed and towed by the city of LA. I can’t say enough about ‘Green Towing’ and if I could give this place a higher rating, I would.
So basically If you have to have your car towed, I guess this is the place to have it towed by. I would give them five stars…
GREEN TOWING ARE THE BEST!!!

Unfortunately the timing belt finally went out on my car. I was stranded at a gas station & found Green Towing on my blackberry’s Unilocal app. Phil picked me up fairly quickly & actually recommended his friend’s repair shop; hoping to save me from the arm-&-a-leg costs at the nearby Honda dealership. After we dropped my car off, Phil even shuttled me back to my apartment free of charge. The experience, although stressful, was efficient & professional.

Very nice. Very fast. The best ! Saved me on the 101!

They’re pretty fast, evidently knowledgeable, quite reasonable and most importantly they get the job done.
My prius needed a jump (since it went unused while I was out of town). They knew the peculiarities of the hybrid and what to do to ensure a safe restart. So I gotta give them top marks.
