Service and food is always amazing. Peter the owner really knows how to treat each and every customer. I love their gluten-​free pasta with pesto. Great vibe, good for a date or small party with friends.

This place came recommended by one of my gym members and I decided to take my parents here Tuesday night. We did not regret this decision. We went a little later about an hour before they closed and still got amazing service and delicious food. If you’re looking for Italian, look no further!

Really good italian food, the steak I ordered was not cooked properly, and was mid grade beef… However I probably should not have ordered a steak at an Italian restaurant. Regardless, a restaurant of this caliber should be able to cook a good steak, and this was barely mediocre.

Have been wanting to try this place out for a while and my boyfriend and I wanted Italian food tonight. The entire experience was perfect!
Terrific, friendly smiling staff, romantic environment and not too busy for a Friday night. We had the caprese, the crêpe pasta (forgot the name, but the first on the pasta list), and had our free Unilocal check-​In tiramisu. Everything was delicious including the appetizer bread.
We will definitely be returning!

I’m not sure what’s going on with these reviews but I have been here twice and the food lacks — a lot. Both times I came for dinner my chicken was borderline undercooked, the pasta was overcooked (no al dente here) and the sauces are watery. Seriously I think a teenager could do better with an onion and bottle of Ragu. They need a new chef! On the other hand — service is wonderful as is ambiance. Sadly I won’t try again.

Warm and comfortable setting, delicious food (I had white fish with zucchini with a fabulous white sauce) with generous portions and all very reasonably priced. On top of all that only a $ 4 corkage fee if you like to bring your own wine and our waiter was very entertaining — in fact he had me in stitches, but quickly disappeared when not needed. A great night with a fine dinner!

This is a great place to bring your significant other for a date night. The place has a wonderful ambiance as well as décor. The food is just as delightful. You have a wide range of Classic Italian dishes to fit your hunger needs, and keep your date satisfied and happy knowing you picked a great spot to bring them to enjoy. Everything from their bread, to their lasagna will have your stomach asking for more and more. The dessert options are just as good and tasty.
The staff is friendly and professional and will make sure your needs are satisfied.
Parking is on the main or adjacent street.

Wow! This restaurant has amazing food and very professional service. I had dinner here on a Sunday night and it was packed. The owners and all staff treat you very well, it is so refreshing and shows that they love what they are doing. Everything is fresh and full of wonderfully complimented flavors.

My mother and I had the most AMAZING lunch. From the second we walked in the door, the servers and staff were attentive and friendly. Our server was so knowledgeable and helpful. When my mother couldn’t decide between two dishes, he said he would surprise her. When our meal came out, he had given her some of both! He was just so sweet and wonderful
Our meals were so delicious! The caesar salad was amazing to start and don’t even get me started on the bread mmmmm! I had the Fettuccini Nick. The seafood was very fresh and tasty. The sauce was understated which was perfect for me. My mother had the Pasta Crepes and the Farfalle con Pollo. The sauces in both were fabulous. Very different yet both were so delicate and delightful.
The dessert was to die for! We had the tiramisu and the salted caramel gelato. Oh my gosh, they were so damn good. Also very nice presentation. The gelato was light yet tasty and the tiramisu was perfection.
Overall, incredible experience and will definitely be visiting again!

I was there just last night with a very dear friend of mine, we could’ve not picked up a better place to dine & chat. I definitely recommend this place to everyone to try out and I sure will be back soon.

Desserts, customer service, owner greeting you at the table, staying after closing time What other perks does Il Tiramisu have waiting for you? I’m sure many! I’ll have to stop in for dinner as well. My date and I came in for a quick cappuccino, two desserts, and a latte and were blown away by the customer service. Family owned and operated, this is a gem in Sherman Oaks and clearly deserves to keep the location space on hot Ventura Blvd. Also, if you love supporting local businesses like I do, this is a great spot. LA has tons of options, but Il Tiramisu will keep you coming. Btw, try the tiramisu and gelato, absolutely perfect, the correct way Italian should be done. Thank you Il Tiramisu, I will definitely be back!

My husband and I went here for Valentine’s day. We had a reservation but still had to wait 30 minutes. The meat tasted like it was good quality but the dishes we ordered had no flavor. And the presentation of the food was pretty appalling. My meat looked like it was just slapped on my plate and I was missing the vegetables that were supposed to some with the dish. Dessert was delicious and had a beautiful presentation. That is the only reason I would go back… but how often do people go out just for dessert? Me, rarely.

We had a great experience at the restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was very good to. I love the fact that the owners were visiting our table making sure everything was fine, and as good Italians they were very warm and welcoming.
The place had a great atmosphere, a combination of rustic and elegant décor.
I ordered the Crespelle di Zucca and as expected it was marvelous; sweet and creamy, delicious. And for dessert I order the crème brûlée but I also had to had a bite of the Tiramisu and they were both amazing.
We drove all the way from Venice Beach to visit this place and it was worth it, so I definitely recommend this place; five stars to Il Tiramisu.

We went here for valentines dinner and I’m impressed with their service, our reservation is at 8pm, we arrived at 7pm and got seated at 715pm. Our food came out good pls check my pic uploads, prefix 3 course meal for $ 55 per person is not bad with wine included. These are big portions not the typical small ones for a grip load. Seabass entrée is delicious! Service is great, valet is $ 4

Been coming here for many years and all I get is the Chicken Pesto sandwich, it’s delicious. I don’t care to try any of the other great looking options they have, well besides the few times I cheated on the sandwich with dessert.
I’m in the love with the pesto.

Amazing service, food and wine.
The servers are classic old pros. Knowledgable, gentlemanly and extremely hospitable.
The pasta dishes are all excellent. I hear the pizzas are too. The tiramisu and cannoli were great as well.
I get the specials every time I go — last time was the pasta with tomato sauce and shell fish. It was perfect.
The wife got a cheesy ravioli which was incredible.
The portions are generous, including the wine pours.
Great date venue. Absolutely recommend it. Never fails.
