Kirt Kingzett has over 16 years experience in real estate. He has worked in every facet of the business from residential to commercial to rehabbing to development to lending to… you name it. He has returned to residential real estate because that’s where his passion lies. «I remember the first property I bought,» Kirt says, «I was very excited, but at times, it was a little scary because I didn’t know what I was doing or what to expect. I like helping people through the process so they can enjoy buying a home, and make sure they get the home that’s right for them.» Kirt feels that’s one of the primary roles of a good real estate agent. «I find that when I explain what is going and give them good information, they’re a lot more relaxed, they get much more involved and make great decisions.»

As first-time homebuyers we had such a great experience with Kirt as our real estate agent! He always made himself available to get information about listings by calling listing agents quickly, and to view new home listings the same day they came up. He never pressured us to make a quick decision, and was patient in explaining the process as it was our first home. He put offers in quickly when we were ready to move forward and made recommendations so our offer would be competitive. He’s very responsive to phone calls and emails, and was in constant communication with our lender to make sure the process went smoothly. He went the extra mile to follow up with our lender at the end of the process when the loan was closing and the process started to slow down from the mortgage end.
Kirt is very knowledgeable about the area in which we bought (San Fernando Valley/Van Nuys), and had great recommendations on reasonably priced and trustworthy home inspection (Brett Mars, Universal Inspectors), termite inspection (Pyramid and 2^nd opinion from Ismael at Diversified Termite), and locksmith (Barak Lock and Security). We will definitely recommend Kirt to friends and family looking for a real estate agent!

Kirt has been very successful in selling units in the building I was living in. He came in with extensive knowledge of everything involved in selling in my building. He has a very casual approach but is on top of everything. He lets you make your own decisions but will provide feedback after you provide your point of view. He is not pushy and will do what you ask him to do. He is very responsive and will give you suggestions on how to make your home sellable. He likes to price accordingly for the market so you’ll bring in bids but will try to drive up the selling price if you get multiple offers. I highly recommend him as an agent to sell your home.
Kirt also helped me purchase my new home. Once he got an idea of what I was looking for, he would pre-screened homes before taking me to see them so we didn’t waste our time. I wasn’t sure what area I wanted to be be in and he was very flexible in taking me outside of his normal area. He would provide all the information I asked for and would carefully go through what to look out for while looking for a new home.
I actually ended up going into escrow on the sale of my home first before starting escrow on the home I was going to purchase. I wanted to accelerate closing by a week so I could be out of my old place before they closed. Kirt made it happen and stayed on top of all the players to make sure everything went smoothly. I highly recommend Kirt to help you buy your new home as well.
