This place has changed alot. The new owner keeps on raiseing up the prices. Story time before would be 3 dollars and would could with nice painting. Now its 5 dollars and at the end kids get there hand stamped. Now its not worth coming. They an older lady doing the shows, she not even funny. The only person that will. make this place worth coming was gina and page. They where funny and very creative. My kids miss them alot. The only thing is they give the kids a snack. This is a little shop in sherman oaks.

Our daughter’s 3^rd Birthday party was at the Northridge Fashion Center location in Northridge, California. We had a spectacular time. Elizabeth, the owner, was extremely accommodating and very welcoming to all our guests. We had 2 hosts; Andrea, who led the party was great and rolled with our 3 year old birthday girls crankiness. The second young lady stayed by my daughter’s side the entire party, playing and laughing, while Andrea hosted everyone else. They worked very well together.
We were very satisfied with the party. We love where it’s located in the shopping center. Our only suggestions would be…
1. More pizza and add drinks to pizza packages.
2. More party based décor and/​or set up.
3. Allow outside balloons that allow expansion on party themes.
4. More trend based themes like My Little Pony, Hello Kitty, or Basketball (put up a hoop), even Lego parties. The entire location was a little gender biased toward females. There needs to be more boy infused costumes and accessories… fire fighters, cowboys, athletes, etc.
5. For an extra fee… offer party planners that help support every detail, from what music you want to hear, to how you want tables set up, to the flow of the event at the party, the itinerary.
As a whole, it was a good party. Good hosts. Great idea, and retail space.

We had a birthday party there for our daughter. It went reasonably well, it’s a cute place for little girls. But it’s not cheap and they find a way to add in additional costs; an extra 30 minutes while you’re cleaning up, any little extra you may ask for like doing a kids hair. A little flexiblity in those regards would go along way, especially considering the overall cost.

The worst return policy u can’t return anything, and when u purchase they don’t mention that also to expensive, I am not going to come back

I wanted to highlight that this review applies to the previous owner. I understand that the new owner runs a completely different business. We are planing to go and check it out soon.

I brought a return today with the tags still on in original bag/​wrap that was clearly purchased as a Christmas gift. The OWNER refused to exchange without original receipt because of their receipt only store policy. The OWNER who clearly was carrying the item in the store, knew it was purchased there. The inconvenience she caused a working mother by NOT exchanging the toddler gift is unfathomable. She could have done the right thing, as the owner and did not. I will NEVER have a party for either of my girls there or purchase anything from this store. The owner has poor judgement. I will encourage every friend and acquaintance never to return — should the name of the this store every come up in conversation.

Have been popping in and out of this place for years for super girly girl clothing, stickers, gifts, etc. Now, I finally have a 3 year old Granddaughter. Took her to open play during a weekday and she LOVED IT! There are plenty of toys and activities to keep any child busy. Tons of dress up clothes. The room itself is also cute and inviting. Took her to her first «Frozen» themed Tea Party about a month ago and she LOVED it!!! I love this place. I think there could be a few little improvements here and there but the general idea is great! There is face painting, story time, a game, a craft, singing, then of course the Princess comes out! Tea (apple juice) and a cookie is served. It’s just really cute! No stress, although I think the more popular the princess, the more busy it gets. The Frozen party was probably 25 kids deep, but it went surprisingly smooth considering all the over the top parents. Notice how i said…“Parents”. The kids were great… HA!
I want to also say that I read a few reviews below and I find it odd that a parent would actually say that the Princess who showed up at their party wasn’t even THE REAL QUEEN ELSA! HELLO! These are NOT real Princesses. These are «theme» parties and I’m sure they do their best! They are most likely nice young girls who aside from needing a job, enjoy kids parties, dressing up like the characters, and love what they do. As for the negative review on the boys, I recall seeing a few boy costumes, but I’m pretty sure most boys would rather not hang out at Lollipop Dream whether they have a choice or not.
The young lady who portrays Ariel is really great!

Lollipop Dream is the cutest little venue! I have taken my niece here multiple times for free play where they can dress up, color, or play games. The atmosphere is very chic and fun. Your little one will adore it.
This past time I was able to take her to one of the tea parties where a very special princess attends and entertains the kids. Along with a host who tends to the kids and even does face paint.
My niece was very thrilled to meet Elsa from Frozen. There was story book time and singing! Allowed me to sit back and relax. The parties can get a little overwhelming. I mean c’mon you try being a host for twenty 3 year olds running around in princess dresses and baby heels. Our host, I believe her name was Shelby was excellent. She was serving tea and crumpets (cookies and apple juice), cleaning up after activities, face painting and helping entertain the little ones when Elsa was busy. Great staff, great time. Don’t miss this.

We hired Queen Elsa (from the movie Frozen) to attend my daughter’s birthday party at our house. Needless to say, we were very disappointed. Queen Elsa showed up with a rip in the back of her dress, her skull cap and real hair showing through the wig, her crown kept falling off which resulted in the wig looking like a birds nest. Worst of all, she did not «act» like a Queen/​princess at all. She did not carry herself in a royal way or speak to the kids as if she was Queen Elsa. Basically, we had a nice girl show up in a shabby costume. Not worth the money at all. The feedback we got from the other parents who attended confirmed the above and one kid even told her mother, «that isn’t the real Queen Elsa». It was heartbreaking actually. I called the owner of the store to ask for a discount on our «princess» of hire. I even provided pictures and she refused. Do not hire a princess from this store.

Okay where do I start?
Concept: awesome (5 stars on the idea)
Execution: horrible
Was there for a princess themed party & it was pure chaos! Very unorganized! No one knows what they are doing. Place appeared filthy… Bathroom was gross! And if you have a boy? Forget it… He’s gonna be miserable as there is nothing entertaining for boys.
The worst part about this place is its VERY unsafe! The «party room» is attached to the store front with nothing separating the store from the room (gate?). There were a bunch of kids trying to run out! The store doors can easily be pushed by a child and they can run into the Mall parking/​driveway and get seriously injured.
There is a reason kids party venues provide safety measures… Accidents happen and I’m sure no one hosting an event would want anyone’s child getting hurt.
When management can provide a more clean and safe environment with a little friendlier staff I would love to come back for a princess themed party for my little princess. C’mon no one thought of putting a little gate to separate the party area from the store?

Well, I’ve been once, and had a nice time with my toddler, but then went again and wanted to just purchase some items, but the girl working there was on the phone with an order it appeared from a catalog. Didn’t bother saying to me, the customer, I’ll be right with you, but instead just ignored me for about 10 mins, and all the while I’m trying to just purchase some items and make them a sale… to no avail!!! It’s no wonder they’re hurting, and changed management. It’s a shame, because they could make it big, but no customer service manners or know-​how. Possibly some re-​training on their staff/​workers on how to conduct BUSINESS 101.

Recently took my daughter to one of their Friday book readings. There was about 20 kids plus the parents/​nannies. Adults especially where so loud you could not even hear the story. Story teller was horrible but very well to remind everyone about tipping at least four times. It started late and ended earlier than the schedule said. Wont ever be going back! =)

If only the staff and management at Lollipop Dream had as much manners as the great Princesses they hire. :/​attended one of the over priced «tea parties». $ 25 earned you a cupcake, cup of apple juice, story and ½ of a game. When it came to «picture time» they had the children line up and the parents waited for a camera to appear… Nope, you had to take your own picture. Parents were treated to… Water from the kitchen faucet.
There is so much great potential here. The idea is superb but is muted by the sourness of the management and staff who were less than accommodating and seemed more annoyed than anything.
1) Purchase a flat of water and keep handy for parents.
2) Invest in a $ 50 color printer to give kids and parents a nice keepsake of the Princess date. Who knows, it may help you get more business as girls will want to collect all their pictures with the different Princesses each month.
3) If the management team isn’t customer friendly, that’s okay… Just hire some good people who are. It’s like Disneyland. No one likes to see Mickey or Minnie with a sour attitude. Fake it until you make it. We didn’t have to pay to come… we made the choice.
I had high hopes and expectations. Here’s hoping things shape up there because again, it’s a great concept. (And the Princess Tiana and Belle are spot on with their mannerisms and accents).

Saying my daughter LOVES this place is really an understatement. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Gina, in particular, is great! She’s so patient and thoughtful of each child’s individual needs/wants…in a group setting that can get very frustrating, but she handles it effortlessly.
The amount of activities they provide throughout the week caters to everyone. And, with the new management (who’s doing an amazing job!), added more events/​options — ballet, art, music classes, etc.
So happy they stayed open! :-)

We went here for an open princess tea party. Our 5 year old daughter had a great time. They had dress up, face painting, story time, games, and of course, tea time.
The whole thing lasted 90 mins, the staff was really nice and the princess was great with the kids. Would recommend.

We just had our daughter’s 3-​year-​old birthday party at our home and we had the pleasure of having Rapunzel visit us! I was a little apprehensive about getting a Disney princess at our birthday party due to numerous warnings from my friends who have attended plenty of parties with really cheesy princesses. We also just had lunch at Disneyland’s Ariel’s Grotto a week before, where princesses visited your table, and I was afraid our Rapunzel from Lollipop Dream would ruin the mystique of the Disney princesses. Well, I’m happy to say that Lollipop Dream’s Rapunzel exceeded our expectations! Rapunzel was graceful, sweet, and everything that you would expect a Disney princess to be! She was in character even when it was just the two of us outside! Loved her!
I have been going to Lollipop Dream ever since my daughter turned 2, and it’s become our favorite place! She just loves going to Story Time on Tuesdays. For $ 3, you can spend an hour being read to, watching a short puppet show, dancing, getting face painting, dressing up, just having a blast with other kids!
They have the most adorable princess clothes and toys! They have little things that cost less than a dollar all the way up to princess dresses that cost around $ 50.
Can’t wait to go our next Lollipop Dream event-​brunch with Belle!

If you’re looking for a super-​duper princess party venue for your little one, Lollipop Dream is it!
We had the little miss’s 5^th birthday party here today and her review as soon as we got into the car to leave the venue was, «THAT WAS THE BEST BIRTHDAY PARTY IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!» As a parent who often stresses during parties, I would have to agree with her.
Normally, I’m stressing over every little detail. Sara and Shannon were our party attendants and took the reins. All I had to do was greet guests and be the official videographer. The girls chose out princess dresses and our little knights don suits of armor available at the venue.
The little miss and her entourage of princesses and knights enjoyed face painting, decorating purses and swords, and fun games. It was really great that they did activities that included the boys in our party. But, I also think that’s because the boys we had in our party ended up being part of the entertainment: one of the knights crashed into a special guest during the limbo game.
Speaking of special guest, we had the pleasure of welcoming the little miss’s favorite princess, Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Her arrival was quite entertaining as our daughter and company bum rushed her and bombarded her with questions ranging from nail polish to shoes, why she wasn’t wearing her blue dress with the white apron and whether or not the Beast might be upset that she was at the party. Belle read her story to the group and joined in on the games. What more could a little princess want then her favorite princess show up entirely just for her?
The adult guests enjoyed the pizza and I was asked where the pizza came from because it was «really good.» We ordered additional pizzas from Pizza Land who provided the pizzas for the children… but that will be another Unilocal review. And the cupcakes provided by Se’ La Vi Sweets were «sooooooooo good.»
I can’t thank the staff enough at Lollipop Dream. It was the most hands-​off I’ve ever been in all of my daughter’s birthday parties and that was a welcomed relief. I was able to enjoy the activities which I’ve never had a chance to do in previous parties. It was one of the best experiences for me and my guests. I emphatically recommend this location for your little one’s party!

I come here sometimes with my kids for their «happy hour» and princess brunches. The Rapunzel princess was very cute and my Daughter loved it. She always has great time here and the staff is friendly. We purchased a princess dress here for Halloween last year and it was adorable. They have a cute (and pricey) selection of gifts.
Back when the store was on Fultin Ave., we had our Daughter’s 4^th birthday party here. It was cute, albeit a bit cramped. And when I went to pay, they literally stuck the gratuity jar directly in front of me as I was writing my check. I understand that the gratuity is now added on to all parties. That was the only negative experience I had there, and I think that particular employee is gone now anyway.

We had my daughters 4^th bday party here and she loved it. The staff was really nice and kept the party moving. We hired a princess to come in, which we hired through them. I think all the kids had a great time and my husband and MIL were very impressed at how nice the party was. I bought the party favors there (velvet jeweled cupcakes with a cupcake necklace inside. so cute) they had them bagged and ready to go. The only thing I did was bring in food for the adults and they did the rest.
We also come for their story time and have done playdates here. Very cute place! My daughter loves coming here for dress up and she loves the face painting! I want to check out their tea parties, they sound so cute.

Had my daughter’s 4^th birthday party here. She and her friends had an awesome time. I’m really glad that I chose this place even though it’s a long drive. They do provide the pizza, and dress-​up and cupcakes, so, things went well. The girls LOVED the princess dress-​up and probably would have spent all day changing from one dress to the other if we let them. They also loved the craft time and fashion show. My only wish is that they would have an assistant help with the party so that one person would not have to do all the activities, transitions, clean-​up etc. I think the price is high enough that they could hire someone affordable. She was happy to do it, but, it seemed a lot for her. I was happy we were on a Sunday and the last party of the day so that people could sort of hang out after the party and chat. I didn’t receive any «thank you» cards though, so maybe they stopped giving those away or forgot. I do suggest they get some more party CDs, and a new karaōke machine, as it often skipped.
But, all in all, the girls were VERY happy and I suggest it to any and everyone searching for a nice place for a girl’s party.
