De Wayne Cox is a talented and accomplished producer of video, short film and television production. He has extensive experience in the production and post-production of broadcast and cable television programming.
De Wayne began his production career when he moved to Los Angeles in 1984 and landed a staff position in the Summer Olympics, which lasted for over 8 years.
In 1995, De Wayne founded Meltdown Entertainment, a full-service film and television production company, which initially specialized in music video production. Under the Meltdown umbrella, De Wayne produced an array of music videos for major record labels, such as MCA Music, Sony, Motown, A&M and Atlantic Records. De Wayne went on to produce and/or direct a slate of 6 different programming series for Viacom’s BET Action Pay-Per-View Network. He also provided the post-production for 90% of the network’s original programming. De Wayne also developed and produced original programming for the home video market.
