Being injured at work was a life changing experience for me. I felt alone with little support from my employer. Feeling overwhelmed while searching for an attorney, I found Michael Burgis and Associates on Unilocal.I called not knowing if I could be helped or what I was asking for. I was lost and scared. Javier Lachuga took my call and immediately validated my concerns and even the pain I was experiencing. I felt relieved that someone understood what I was going through! Zhenia Burgis assisted me during my deposition. She is very knowledgeable and made me feel safe throughout the process. Loved her! And last but not least, Ricardo Ybarra. Every phone call or email I made to him (which was a lot, poor guy), he took the time to ease my concerns and explain the process, even if it was for the 100^th time. He made me feel as though my situation was important and would follow up with others immediately. He got things done! He also referred me to an amazing doctor who truly cared about my wellbeing and helped get me on my path to healing.

trust this wonderful law firm/​/​/​they go the distance, and when the bully says no way… he shows the bully, which was basset law firm for Rn L carriers… what a shame that they didnt do their job for my husband death… i was told by employees at RnL that no one did their job that night and i was told by the coroner that my husband died in the last hour. i was also told that if someone would have gone to his truck in the first hr. medical attention would have saved his life. what he died of was treatable… no one checked on his truck why it didnt leave/​over two hours is a shame on their part. as told to me by joes and the girl at the guard shack no one document why he was not gone after a half hour… thanks to michael he moved that hard bully to the back burner… even if its not bringing my husband home, and i do hear my husband say that RnL didnt do enough. many many blessings Mr. Burgis and staff

Most are not inclined to like lawyers and there’s plenty of justification for it.

Everyone who works at the firm is incredibly nice and professional. Every time I went to the office I was immediately greeted and asked if they could get me anything. I never had to wait long and felt welcome and comfortable. I met Michael at a panel and after hearing a little about workers comp law I approached him and asked about my situation. He told me to email him and he would see if there was anything he could do. I emailed him the next day and got a response the same day. I didn’t even think I had a case or that anything could be done. He assured me I did and and immediately starting working on my case. I was able to see a doctor the next week! Michael is relentless when it comes to getting his clients what they deserve and incredibly skilled and experienced. He is also friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout everything. Every time I visited the office Michael would come by and say hi and ask how I was doing even the times I was there not to see him. Jenny, another member of his team, was always contacting me with updates and answered all of my questions and even helped with EDD. She is so kind and compassionate and never made me feel like I was wasting her time with silly questions. She is always on top of everything and all of the information between the doctors and attorneys and keeping you in the loop. Zhenia, the other attorney working on my case was also incredible! She is so feisty and not afraid to stand up for her clients and protect them. She is always up front about what is happening and explaining how the case is going and what the next steps are. I was so thankful I had her on my side during the whole process. Her writing skills are killer! Defense attorneys won’t know what hit them!
Everyone at MB&A truly care about you and getting you the help you need to get better. They fight for what you deserve and if they feel you deserve more they let you know and are more than willing to continue to push until they get it for you.
