Great selection. They had a very knowledgeable staff. Definately going to be shopping there from now on.

Cheapest place to get all ur liquor. Rows and rows of stuff. But closed Sunday’s so get yer stuff Saturday. They know their booze here and can recommend things which is also nice.

Great service from a staff that you know and remembers you, very knowledgeable, this is not your average Liquor store. And great prices, comparable to Costco prices, and unbelievable selection in all category’s and sizes of liquor. Only thing is they are closed on Sunday’s, but I like that they give their great staff the best day of the week off.

Parking is in the back! This is my go to wine & spirits store in the valley. The location is much smaller than the Pasadena one but the selection is just as good. They have a few Syrahs which are just delicious and under $ 50. The bubbly selection is also nice if you’re looking for a hostess gift. The beer offering is also huge! Their website is well designed & helpful for finding some rarer vintages and they offer shipping. I prefer this place over larger chains and you can ask for recommendations knowing you’ll get something good.

This is the best place to go for discounted liquor! I stop by before every Vegas trip. The staff is very helpful. The selection they have is amazing. This is adult beverage heaven!

Best liquor and tobacco shop ever. Lot of hookah flavors n parts to choose from. And awesome prices whether you’re here for liquor, beer, hookah, cigars, cigarrettes, etc.
This is my go to liquor shop anytime I do not wanna purchase big-​sized bottle from Costco. Sometimes, this place is even cheaper than Costco.
No smoke shops can beat their prices in hookah selection, whether it’s hookah, flavors, coals, hoses, bowls, etc.

Family owned and operated it’s an amazing liquor store they had everything even specialty items from Armenia I have to see it’s one of the nicest liquor stores I’ve ever been to and plus the prices are very reasonable I cater for almost 80 guest under $ 500 budget which is pretty amazing we can get the same deals at BevMo I wish you much success in your business

I’ve been to many places, looking for unique and special products as well as a good price for good and excellent bottles for clients and friends… I don’t know of a better place than Mission Wines. A lot of clients ask me why I don’t go to Wally’s in West L. A, and the answer is Mission has more selection and better prices. And if you really want something, Mission will look into ordering it if they can. Been to hundreds of stores, have yet to find a better overall place.

Awesome wine and liquor selection! And not to mention the prices can’t be beat! The staff there are always helpful and I’ve never had a problem there! Just wish they were open a little later.(late work nights make it tough to get there before 8) but none the less still my favorite spot! Thank you mission!

I love this place! Not only does this store have a great variety of wonderful product with great pricing, but it also has the best staff I’ve ever come across. The manager, Issa, has always been very kind to me and my family. he’s always asking how we are doing and making sure we always have the best customer experience. His passion for this store bleeds into his employees, who are always willing to stop what they are doing to help a customer. As long as I live in LA, I will always shop at one of their many locations. Well done!

Insensitive people!
The manager/​owner made a comment to a black man to do it «like you are picking cotton». This specific comment and the other racial comment that followed wasn’t made towards me, but I was greatly offended by them.
I spoke to the guy that made the comment and he gave all the same excuses/​explanations that most racist and bigots do when caught: «That guy is my friend. We joke around like that all the time. I help him out a lot.»
The manager stated that he was from Lebanon and eventually stated that he was Christian. This information made the comment even more problematic for me — because this man made a comment that is nuclear in nature that was learned and shows his true nature. (A Lebanese Christian must have encountered some hate and discrimination.) He later said that he should have been aware of who was in the store (I was in an aisle a few feet from them), but he never said he was wrong.
This comment could have easily been anti-​Semitic, sexist, or any other way to demean a person.
This experience happened yesterday and still bothers me a day later.
Someone who becomes part of our community should be aware what has happened in this country and in other parts of the world — and not make jokes! I would never make a joke about a suicide bomber, which would offend someone from the Middle East!
My household is black and Jewish — I have to watch out for bigots all the time!

They have it all and FOR GREAT PRICES! Doesn’t get much better than this place — and the guys are ALWAYS so helpful with everything — carrying stuff to your car, finding stuff in the back — they even give you cocktail recipes for parties!

Well I went to Mission with the intent to support the small chain over the larger ones like Total Wine or Bevmo. I had a couple of expired Groupons that just had the value I paid on them as that never expires. At first the guy says these are too old and he can’t accept them. I told him that the promotional value was expired but that the money I paid was still valid. He continued to give me a hard time then he makes a phone call and comes back and says, ok but you can only use one of the certificates at a time and it has to be against a minimum purchase of $ 20.00. That’s complete BS and they seem to be just making up the rules to suit themselves.
Rather than be forced to overpay for their limited beer selection I will just try to get a refund from Groupon for the $ 10.00 I paid for the other certificate.
BTW one of the 6 packs that I did buy was Lagunitas Sucks– Missions price 10.49, Total Wine has it for $ 8.99. Not going back to Mission if I can help it, their customer service SUCKS.

Love this place, the staff is super friendly and the beer selection is good. I go here for my bourbon fix once a week because they are one of the only places that have wild turkey handles at a decent price .
Parking lot can be tricky but it’s worth it.

I’ve driven by Mission Wine & Spirits but never knew what a Terrific store it is.
For Christmas I bought 4 different kinds of Japanese Sake out of the 25+ sake they carry. Japanese whiskey, who knew or even stocked these.
All the guys are extremely knowledgeable and will help you with your selection.

(Shopped 11÷29÷14 SA @ 4:00pm): On a mission to #shopsmall and support local businesses, I was about to get liquored-​up in the San Fernando Valley!
Thanks to the wonderful Unilocal app, I found the Sherman Oaks location of Mission Wine & Spirits while I was in the area. I frequented their first Glendale location often for their wide selection, low prices and great service. But when I found out they were participating in American Express’ #smallbizsat promotion (for $ 10.00 minimum purchase you received a rebate of $ 10.00 on your statement), I was filled with glee like a schoolgirl who got her first kiss! Papa needed to fill the liquor cabinet:
Grey Goose Gift Set ($ 21.95) — One of my favorite vodkas — which I was currently out of — I couldn’t pass up this gift set deal with two logoed martini glasses all wonderfully packaged for the holidays for the same price sans martini glasses! Now… what to do with the martini glasses???
6-​Pack Chang Beer ($ 4.99) — My favorite Thai beer at less than a buck a bottle?! This honey tasting libation was coming home with me without a second thought… except whether or not I needed another 6-​pack!
Service — I was immediately greeted by one gentleman and a few others as I cased the joint on my first venture here. I needed to get the lay of the land and preferred to do so all on my own so I kindly declined any assistance… until I remembered to ask if they had the new Rogue sriracha beer (they didn’t). With items in hand, I watched up to the counter and quickly paid as there was only one other customer. All was easy peasy.
Parking (Free) — They shared a large parking lot with three other businesses, so plenty of spaces. Otherwise, there also was ample parking on all surrounding streets.
Atmosphere, décor, ambience — A medium-​sized square-​shaped store filled wall-​to-​wall with all sorts of libations, you had long organized aisles of alcohol and wines
, a back wall of refrigerated drinks
, one separate area for the pricier items
, and another separated area for fancy cigars. There were promotional posters on the walls like any liquor store. Large bright electric lighting hung from the rafters-​like ceiling (basically similar to a warehouse) while the only natural light came through the long hallway from the back entrance (the front glass walls in the front were all covered up). There were no TVs but background music played.
Attire — Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-​shirt, boardshorts, and flip-​flops.
Overall, the Sherman Oaks Mission Wine & Spirits was a hit with me, and I honestly didn’t expect anything less based on the experience with their original location. This locaiton seemed a touch bigger; hence, it had more products. Prices were excellent and I’d say better than the larger box libation stores. They tended to have more unique labels, and of course, an eclectic assortment of Armenian and Middle Eastern libations. Word to the wise because I missed the location on my first time around the block: they were next door to Robin Hood British Pub. I found exceptionally good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (total paid experience was around $ 30.00; no tip required). And, they accepted my credit card of choice… AMEX! 5.0 STARS

Not only did they have one bottle of txakolina, but two! I felt they had a great selection of wine and liquor, but if you’re a craft beer fan, you might feel disappointed to find they have a few bottles you would get excited about.
Definitely a spot for me to stop by to grab a bottle of wine, but not seek a great selection of craft beer.

I love this place so very dearly. They stock everything from hookah tobacco through to honey liquor, great red wines, amazing beers and ales… Even English chocolates.
The staff are friendly and knowledgable, and Dini is basically Wine Yoda. I’ve learned a TONNE about wine, simply asking him.
Also, for those who believe that «White Wine» is a thing you drink, they have that too.
They consistently do great sales and hands down have the best price on my favorite Scotches and wines by far.
In short, this is my favorite place to get wine /​booze in L.A. Easily the best place to stock up on high quality stuff for a party.
