I literally order this place every week. Sometimes twice a week. I’ve ordered at least 20 times or more and everytime the food is either good, or very good. They have a solid place in my rotation. And also the best shrimp fried rice I have ever had.

Impressed with the food and portions for the price. The Pad Thai and Pad See Ew were delicious, but I’ll probably go back for the Tom Kha(coconut soup). Be warned, in a good way, that if you order fried rice it’s a large portion!

Worst customer service ever. If you call for a phone order, they will forget about you and leave you on hold. Has happened more than once. And the the same girl who has done it, plain out said she didn’t care. WOW

An amazing experience. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. You must try the Pad see ew. It tastes like heaven.

Food is mediocre at best. I understand many think this is delicious thai food but it seems like many of these high reviews are from people who normally do not eat thai food or even asian food on the regular. Here is what i ordered: 1) Pad Thai(chicken) — flavor of the pad thai is definitely not the best and tasted a bit dry. 2) Pad see ew(shrimp) — parts of the noodle was burnt. Flavor was decent but also tasted a bit dry and under seasoned. 3) Combination fried rice– dry and under seasoned. Tasted rather bland even though i normally eat my food low sodium on the regular. Meat was burnt and dried. 4) Thai iced tea — tasty, no problems with this. Overall wouldnt be my first choice of thai food venue to eat at but not bad enough that I wouldnt ever go. Tried delivery.

We get delivery once a month from this place. Our favorites are the red curry and the pineapple fried rice. The restaurant itself is really small. The theme is the Beatles, which seems a little random. I don’t think I would recommend dining in, but definitely try the delivery if you live nearby. Free Thai iced tea with delivery(although I wish it was a lot less sweet)!

This place is delicious. I came here with a friend and we looking for an affordable thai place to go to. Looked up on Unilocal and this place had good ratings. Despite its small venue, it’s worth waiting for. Everything was a delight. Yellow curry, brown rice, wonton soup, and the Pad se eu were good. Service is mediocre, but overall a delight.

Definitely a take out place and not a dine in restaurant. The seating area in the restaurant is small, the overhead lighting is stark, and the constant flow of people calling and walking in to pick up their orders does not make for a nice eat in ambiance. I ordered the tom yum soup and tofu pad thai and did not like it at all. The tom yum soup was far too limey and the pad thai was way too dry, not enough sauce. My husband had another noodle dish which I thought had too much soy sauce but he thought was tasty. I guess it all depends. If you’re like my husband and not at all a picky eater you’ll likely be quite satisfied with your meal here. If you’re like me and picky/high standards for your thai food then you should look elsewhere.

I love thai food, it really is my favorite type of food. Having said that, I’m pretty picky so to give this place 4 stars means I think it is pretty D*** good. I have had the green curry(beef) and fried tofu drunken noodles so far, both were great. It would have gotten 5 stars had it been a little less greasy and a little more generous with veggies. Overall, pretty good and I’ll be back!

The fried rice was bland. The yellow curry had undercooked potatoes in it, but a good portion of meat which is nice. The chow mein was my favorite but the noodles and veggies were also undercooked(noodles stiff and rubbery and veggies almost still raw).(Ordered on 12÷22÷15 evening).

Got there at 3:15 for them to tell me they close at 3:30−5pm. Mind you, they sign outside their small, dark, and smelly establishment said OPEN in a bright red lit up sign. When I got in, the woman at the front told me they closed so I mentioned her Unilocal said she was open. She responded by saying we close at 3:30 and take the last order at 3:20. I lifted my phone to show her it was 3:16 and responded by saying sorry we closed. All in all, I’m sure I didn’t miss out but it’s their awful work ethic that’s going to keep them in that 20×20′ shack. Stay away!

They deliver so we had them bring it to our place. Our food arrived promptly in half an hour. We ordered the Shrimp wrapped bacon, Cream cheese wontons, Garlic pepper shrimp, and Chicken pad Thai which was all pretty good and flavored well. The shrimp wrapped bacon however wasnt too filling(they’re tiny).

This place is so delicious. Came here with my husband and girlfriends. I had the red curry. It was perfectly spicy. The dining area is very small but there was a table available. The bathroom was clean. The waiter was very nice. It was a little cold in the dining room but other than that it was a great experience. I ate every bite.

Delicious Thai cuisine that seemed healthier than most Thai restaurants. We particularly thought that their Tom Yum chicken soup was delicious. Our other favorite dishes were the spicy noodles and the Prik King chicken. The latter dish was made in a unique way that we loved! It had more of a curry sauce than most restaurants offer. Given the amount of food and we ordered the bill was quite reasonable. And, even though only one server was working the small dining area, we still felt like the service was good and efficient. One tip though if you are going for lunch arrive just before noon if you can as there are only about 5 tables and they fill up quickly!

I was driving a Tractor-Trailer out to Oxnard to drop off the trailer. As I was driving westbound, I noticed a restaurant from the 101. «Monster Thai.» I thought, «With a name like that, it HAS to be good.» So I made a point to try to stop by on my way back. I wouldn’t find parking for sure until I was rid of the 53-ft trailer. Bobtailing back, I got lucky enough to find enough room for my truck right in front of the restaurant. Score! Parked and walked on in. I was the only customer. Saw the lunch specials and decided to go that route. Basic meats or «proteins» as they call them. No Duck, at least on the lunch special. Got Red Curry Chicken with Steamed Rice and Wonton Soup. The Red Curry was quite good, and I am happy to say that it is a bit different than your standard Thai curry dish. Seems like more basil was used, and they definitely used more green peppers. Good stuff. The Wonton Soup was great, especially after I added a bunch of rice to it and created Wonton gruel out of it. Delicious. The restaurant was immaculately clean, and the waiter was quite pleasant. Nice. Will be sure to come back when Im in the area.

I like the customer service and the speedy service. I got TOFUPADTHAI and ICEDCOFFEE. Both were too sweet. Pad Thai was made for Panda Express crowd(the non-Asian clientele who like orange chicken sweet enough to substitute as candy). Noodles needed sambal and lime juice. Iced coffee was too sweet and destroyed all coffee flavor. I’ll have to try the other menu items or bring my own sambal sauce.

Two words… Panang curry! Out of all the thai restaurants I go to, this place has probably the best panang curry I’ve ever tasted. You can definitely taste the coconut in it and it’s thick, unlike some other thai restaurants whose panang curry is a little watered down. The other bbq stuff is really good too. If you get one of the Monster combos, you’ll have enough food to feed 2 or just 1 really hungry mofo. It’s more of a to-go place than a dine-in because of their small space, but I do like dining here because it feels like they really clean the tables, chairs, and benches really well. There is ample free parking in the front and there’s also a parking lot in the back. If you love panang chicken curry as much as I do, please go here. You will not be disappointed!

Monster Thai what a clever name for a small little spot. They literally have only 5 tables in this little spot. They are seriously pumping it mad to go orders in this place. No joke their phone never stopped ringing the whole time I was in there. Service: I mean with 5 tables you’d have to work hard to have bad service. But they were great. Parking: small tight lot in the back. Made me a little weary on parking my car back there but when your hungry you park it tight Food: The food was really good. Their TomYum literally one of the better Tom Yums I’ve ever had. Their Garlic/Pepper chicken is very good as well. Smooth with the garlic and the pepper isn’t too over bearing. The sauce that it’s Cooked in, is amazing. N last the Pad See Ew was good but not great. I like to think of myself as a PSE aficionado. The flavor is good. But they could do better on the noodle consistency :). That’s what she said

Very fresh Thai food! Thank you Unilocal for leading me to this fabulous find. When I first arrived to this location, I didn’t think much of it. It’s small and most people pick up food, rather than dine in. However, I didn’t let that scare me, so I stayed. I ordered the Beef Pad Sew Ew, since it’s a Thai staple and I was very happy. The food came out so fast and it tasted so good. It was so fresh and the beef was flavored well. The portion was large so I took half of it home and ate it for lunch the next day. I’m definitely coming back!
