A 91 Year Tradition

Zellman’s Men’s Wear was established in 1921 in the Los Angeles community of Boyle Heights. Our commitment to customer service and quality has stayed constant throughout the years. We are attuned to our clients’ needs and have adapted our products to new trends in the workplace. As corporate dress moved from suits to casual, we chose to focus on custom embroidery and changed our name to Mr. Stitch Embroidery.

As the third generation owner of Zellman’s Menswear, in 1996 I created a new embroidery division out of our clothing store in Boyle Heights. Trained in marketing and design, custom embroidery was a good fit for my skills.

Great attitude and welcomes you with a big smile. I was treated like VIP customer. Eli explain to me how they work and what they could provide for me. I send him my design that I wanted on my trucker base caps. He gave me 3 options in hats with cost effective. They did the job in 1 week in half, due too the holidays and they send you a approval design before they do the final design. The hats came out amazing, Huge Thank You to Mr stitch and Eli for making my hats look great. People love my hat when I go on my hikes. Thank You. Plan to get all my gear here.

Stopped in here today to see if we could make a hand me down yellow rain slicker a bit more girly somehow for my daughter who fancies pink and sparkles and fairies… you get the idea. Was thinking about a monogram and/​or little butterfly on a pocket. Price was reasonable. Though a bit more than I wanted to invest. So we decided to pass. However, I gotta say the people here were exceptionally nice. I hope I have reason to use the services of Mr. Stitch – gotta love the name – in the future.

I wanted to have a special X-​Mas present for my family this year, so I had my two family crests made into custom patches. I asked my co-​worker since our company had made patches before and she recommended Mr. Stitch.
Eli was so helpful on the phone, very knowledgeable and helped me work out a deal that was within my budget.
I picked up the patches today and they came out GREAT! I was so pleased and can’t wait to see my family’s reaction to them. I’ll definitely be back in the future.

Customer Service is not DEAD. Mr. Stitch Embroidery is probably the best run business I have come across in Los Angeles. Their attention to detail is unparalleled. The feedback and input I got from Eli and Mary Ann regarding my order was so helpful. Their number one concern was always to give the customer the product they were hoping for. My order was done in a timely fashion. When they would place the order they would always confirm does this Pick-​Up Date/​Time work for you. I appreciate that kind service. I had to quickly order some beanies for a work gift. Scrambled to come up with a logo quickly as well. All I had to go on was a picture off my cell phone and an idea.
I saw other reviews on Unilocal and decided to just go with Mr Stitch. Chelsea was a complete pro and added her own ideas too. She took the picture and created the logo, no problem.
The turnaround time, the service, the quality, the end product: fantastic!

I found Mr. Stitch via google search. It’s a small little shop nestled on Ventura Blvd. I had a set of white bath and hand towels that I needed monogrammed. I worked with Chelsea who patiently sat with me and went over the different style and color options and printed out a sample (to size) of what the monogram would look like. The towels were done in less than one week. They look gorgeous and were done to my exact specifications (I had size and placement requirements). Thanks guys!!!

I could not be more pleased. I had them take out some embroidered lettering in a messenger bag and stitch something else instead. It looks perfect! You can’t even tell that something else used to be there. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but they exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them. I looked for days for someone that could embroider on a high top Converse Tennis Shoe. No one I called could or would do the job. I reached out for help on Facebook and one of my friends recommended Mr. Stitch. Not only was Mary Ann helpful over the phone, she was able to do exactly what I needed and more. They ended up making me patches, embroidering the shoes and a jean jacket. The work is impeccable and I will be a definite return customer.

Mr. Stitch is hands down, the best screen printing and embroidery shop in LA. They’re all so nice, and so easy to work with. They were able to turn around 100 jackets for me in less than a week. Everytime I come here to create an extra special gift they execute on time, and just perfectly. My most recent order involved an image I found and edited and they were able to modify and digitize it to create an amazing product for a special group trip. There is no where else I would trust to do my embroidery work! The best!
