I went into ReCellIt the other day with an Iphone that I had bought on Amazon, which my T-​Mobile guy told me was locked.
He spent almost a half-​hour with me. He plugged the phone in, and checked to see if it was on the FBI «stolen» list, which would make it Locked in a big bad way anywhere in N America [who knew!]. It wasn’t on that list and it wasn’t locked — at all.
He then explained that since most phone stores pay on commission, the sales people will straight up lie to you and tell you the phone is locked. And, he told me that he could only give me $ 50 for it, but that I might want to rethink it — so he spent the time, did the diagnostic, educated me and then told me that I probably wanted to think it over before selling it to him. I think this is a terrific place!
Yes, Amy E — if you go thru someone else to do a thing that you could do yourself, you will make less money. What part of Economics 101 did you miss out on? The point is, not all of us want to do the Ebay dance, and so ReCellIt offers the service of quick, easy and done — with a nice person giving excellent service. Glad you figured out how to make more money, but you might live longer not being such a hater.

I had a couple of old cell phones and some miscellaneous electronics. I walked into this place and they offered me some money and it was great! Especially in today’s times, it was great to get some money in exchange for something sitting in my house collecting dust. I recommend this place highly.

These guys are fantastic! I work in cellular sales and have been sending them business since before they even had the brick and mortar location. When customers have old devices and just need extra cash for their new ones these guys are always super helpful and give the customers very fair value for their old devices (Generally about double what the carrier does through our «buyback program»). I would absolutely recommend taking your old device (s) to them to help lighten the blow of getting into your new one.

Daniel was great, I have phones for sale sometimes and he always gives me the highest prices for them compared to his competitors. Working with him was quick and easy. It is a nice clean store and he was very friendly. I highly recommend this buy back place because its all around great. Ive been to other places and have has bad experiences with all of them but this one was really good. Dan definitely deserves 5 stars!

The owner, Daniel, contacted me via Unilocal and asked me to remove (!) my review because «…the fact that you felt it necessary to deface my business on a public forum such as this just really sucks for us… the review you left us actually really did hurt our business.»
I’m sorry that’s the case, Daniel. I stand by my review as it was an honest reporting of my experience. I did make an assumption that you re-​sell items on eBay rather than selling them to refurbishers. Your profit margin really isn’t my business. But my profit margin is, and it was clear to me that I would make a lot more money selling my phone on eBay, which I did within a few hours. If someone else had posted a similar review for me to read, I wouldn’t have wasted my time coming in to your store. If you want better reviews, provide a better service and a better experience for your customers.

I went in with an old BlackBerry Curve, Pearl, and an iPhone 3GS. All in good condition, worked, no cracked screens or anything… just old with normal wear ‘n tear. I made sure I wiped the phones clean to erase all my data before I went. The guy who helped me checked them all first one at a time. First a visual inspection, then plugged them all in to make sure they worked, could hold a charge, and the system was ok. He offered to wipe it if you haven’t already which is good to know. After looking though the phones he knew right away there would be no use for the pearl so they could donate it if I wished, but offered me $ 10 for the Curve and $ 50 for the iPhone. $ 60 total worked for me!
For any sales over $ 50 they print you a check. I opted to use $ 10 of my earnings toward a new case for my new iPhone. They have a BUNCH of accessories on sale — all sorts of cases, holders — I mean walls of goodies ALL for $ 10. Pretty good deal for the one I got which was a Hard Shell Incipio slider case that normally retails for $ 30. He cut me a check for the remaining $ 50 and I was on my merry little way!
They also buy back laptops, tablets, mp3/​iPods, and iPads. If you have some items that are a few years old but still in good condition, I’d say sell it here. I don’t know how things like eBay or Craigslist work so could you get more for the items… maybe? But for me, this was quick, easy, and convenient.

These Guys are awesome. Dan and D were really helpful, have gotten a few different iPhone cases from them — all of which held up great and lasted for awhile. Also traded in my old 3GS for a decent amount of cash. Definitely the best place to go for a cash trade-​in on a broken phone or that old phone when you’re ready to upgrade. Recell It = best iphone cash trade-​in in the valley!

So I just got a new phone from the ATT store, so when I saw this place buys used phones I walked in to see if I could get some cash for my old phone. They gave me a great price for my used phone, and I was able to get some cheap accessories for my new phone too (much cheaper than ATT)
