Hi welcome to Sara’s Preschool and Daycare of all organic foods ! Being a parent is a tough responsibility especially when it comes to choosing the right preschool and day care. Your child is the most important thing in your life and you should really research where you decide to leave your child at. I am a licensed facility running legally and have all the proper documentation needed with the state of California. I have 10 years of experience working with 7 different school districts as a behavioral therapist and as well as the Program Coordinator for Orange County school district. I will work one on one with your toddler to provide all the fundamental tools needed.

Our parents adore us and we adore our kids. Every child that walks in our door is family and we feel that they are our angels.

We specialize in helping kids get a jump start on their fine and gross motor skills, language, play scenarios, socializing, behavioral therapy, music, dancing, arts and most importantly teaching them love and friendship. Our school has 3 separate rooms for sleeping, eating and a big playroom as well as a separate backyard that is secured and child proof.

I am well known for sleep training and also work with parents to set proper time schedules.

We also offer music classes, lapd visits, dentist visits, soccer classes, yoga, art, jewelry making, crafts, and water activities !

History

Established in 2013.

Sara is a graduate of California State University with a B. S in Nutrition and Dietetics and later completing a Masters in Education. Sara was the Program Coordinator for the Orange County School District specializing in low income Health and Nutrition Programs for Alternative Schools. Sara also has worked with LAUSD and PUSD in the field of behavioral therapy and behavioral education for parents. Shireen was a former Child Care manager overseas for over 10 years working very closely with teachers, parents and children.

I wish I could give 100 stars!!! My daughter has been with Sara’s daycare for about 8 months and I can’t say enough good things. Sara is the most caring, wonderful, thoughtful woman with each and every child there. She goes above and beyond to have the kids doing special activities and fun crafts almost everyday. My daughter talks about Sara and all of the staff constantly. As hard as it is being a working mom, Sara helps make it manageable by sending pictures and videos almost daily to show what’s going on for the day. She has also helped with any behavioral issues going on, sleep training and helping my daughter stop using a sleep sack, and also getting my daughter to try food that she normally wouldn’t with me. Sara and her staff is sent from heaven and I have made her promise to keep room for any future kids I may have!!! I feel so lucky to have found them.

I can’t say enough great things about Sara and Shireen. I was so worried about finding a daycare that my daughter would feel comfortable attending. Sara and Shireen made my daughter and myself feel so welcome. My daughter loves going. They do so many fun activities; arts, soccer, singing, play group games, and much more. I always feel great knowing that my daughter will have a fun filled day with all of her friends. What I love the most is the communication that Sara gives to the parents. She is always sending photos or txt messages about what is going on at the daycare and with our children. If you are looking for a loving and nurturing daycare then Sara’s Daycare is perfect.

Let me start by saying that I am extremely lucky to have gotten a spot for my daughter with Sara. I searched all the day cares in the area and beyond and non at all compared to this one. Not only is Sara amazingly caring and knowledgable in her field but her space is super clean, organized and structured. Most day cares I looked at were dirty and a complete free for all. This day care has exceeded my expectations completely. My daughter is learning, having fun and always leaves there with a smile on her face. I never have a doubt, that my daughter is in good hands and taken care of just as well as she would by me.

I was struggling finding a day care close by when I stumbled upon Sara’s Day Care. As many stars as possible plus some! Sara and her mother are beyond amazing. I am so fortunate to have found them. The place is super clean and organized. They are flexible with my schedule which makes my life so much easier. Always doing fun & educational activities! Soccer, painting, activities with animals etc! Food is organic which I love. The most important part to me is I am at peace when I leave my son at Sara’s house. I know he is safe. He loves them and is always excited to get to school. Sara and her mom Shireen are a Godsend!

I couldn’t have been more blessed to have found Sara’s Daycare and the best part of all is that it’s in my neighborhood. Sara and her mom, Shireen are amazing women and treat every child as if they were their own. It wasn’t until my daughter started coming here that she really started developing her language skills and personality. All the children really love being here and love being around each other.
Sara’s Daycare emphasizes a healthy lifestyle and healthy eating habits for the children. I receive pictures and updates daily and it’s a tremendous feeling of security for me. Every few weeks there’s a new curriculum and fun activities, including soccer, yoga and holiday cookie baking (organic & gluten free). My daughter comes home with beautiful hair do’s and art projects and has even cried for Sara while at home with me on the weekends.
They really love the children and have so much passion for what they do. They’re hardworking, warm, and honest and I trust them with my daughter’s life. She’s having so much fun learning and growing with them, I wish it would never end.

My review is unusual, but I felt strong about it, so here it is: I am a daycare provider myself. I was looking for an animal-​pet class for the children in my daycare. I was having a hard time finding one, but in my search I stumbled upon Sara’s Preschool And Daycare on Unilocal.She had use this kind of classes services in the past and I wanted to ask her about it.
I felt a little awkward calling a daycare, out of the blue, to ask about their classes. Specially on a Friday night at 7p. I was planing on leaving a voicemail and hoping that someone would return my call next week. I am so glad I called. She answered the phone with a big smile on her face :). She is such a pleasant and genuine lady. She was happy to share the information with me and much more than I called for. We stayed a little while on the phone sharing experiences… I could feel her love for the children and how she loves to take care of them.
I live in West Los Angeles but I can’t wait to be in the Valley to meet her in person and visit her School, which I am sure will be a reflection of how genuine she is. If you are looking for a daycare or preschool for your child, go visit Sara… I have the feeling that you won’t be disappointed !

Sara has been nothing but lovely, positive & reassuring since the very first day my son started here! I was very nervous since my son has been with me since birth (he started at 18 months) and his transition has been amazing! What can I say that already hasn’t been said. Sara and Shireen are great. They really treat the kids as one of their own. My son started when he was 7 months, within the first 2⁄3 weeks he is now crawling and standing. He has a huge smile on his face every time they open the door in the mornings. I’m happy to know he’s being taken care of by such caring and knowledgeable women. I get updated on how his progressing and what they feed him. Glad I found Sara and Shireen.

Our circumstances were a bit unique. I’m usually a stay-​at-​home-​mom with our 2.5 year old son, but a recent month-​long remodel had me hunting high and low for temporary day-​care while all the noise, dust, and commotion of the construction was going on. I researched over a dozen local places including part-​time pre-​school and full-​time daycare, and visited more than half of them.
Both my son and I immediately felt comfortable with Sara and her mother, Shireen. They were warm, open, positive, and very conscientious. When I mentioned my son’s issues with constipation, Sara, who is also a nutritionist, was very quick to offer dietary suggestions, which I appreciated, and Shireen immediately brought my son a persimmon to eat, when I mentioned that he liked them.
While my son is in her care, Sara texts me updates throughout the day without even being asked: pictures of him playing, what and how much he eats (they only serve organic food), how well he’s pooped, and how well he’s getting on with the other children, etc. When my son’s had behavioral issues (hugging other kids too vigorously, monkeying around during naptime) Sara is quick to communicate with me as well as offer helpful suggestions based on her years of experience. From her past work with autistic kids, she’s very attuned to helping little ones recognize, process, and express their feelings – and she does so with engaging games, like role-​playing emotions. Sara and Shireen are clearly deeply invested in the well-​being of the children they care for.
My son always comes home happy, chatty, and singing new songs. Since he’s been going there, I’ve also noticed that my son (who used to be very shy) is much more confident and outgoing when engaging with other kids now.
I highly recommend Sara’s Daycare. It’s more than just drop-​off daycare. It’s quality co-​parenting.

My now two-​year-​old son started with Sara’s Day Care six months ago. As first time parents, we found it an incredibly daunting task to find a place we felt comfortable leaving our son. We met with several day care centers but none felt right. After my first meeting with Sara and her mom Shireen, I knew this was going to be a going to be a great fit for us. The first week was a tough transition but very quickly my son came to love Sara and her sweet mom Shireen. When we drop him off in the morning, he can’t wait to run in and see his friends and find out what yummy breakfast they have waiting for him. They feed him healthy, organic food that he loves. My son is a very picky eater but they take the time to consider what foods he will enjoy. Throughout the day, they send me pictures and texts showing me all of the fun activities he’s experiencing that day. For his second birthday they took the time to throw him a little party. They continue to go above and beyond to make things special for the kids. I can’t say enough good things about Sara’s Day Care. We love them and consider them a part of our family!

We switched daycare’s when our daughter was 18 months and it was a very stressful time but I couldn’t be happier that we found Sara’s daycare. Sara and her mom are so loving and my daughter has really opened up since she’s been there. She is happy every day when we drop her off. My daughter is speech delayed due to some ear infections and since going here she has learned some sign language and her vocabulary has really improved. Sara is great at communicating with me and I get pictures throughout the day so I really feel like I know what’s happening in my daughter’s life when I’m working. They are super understanding and accepting and make sure we are all on the same page and it’s great knowing that we have a daycare that truly cares for our daughter.

Best Customer Service I received by anyone. I spoke with Sara on the phone who sadly informed me that her daycare is booked until February 2015. Yet she took my name and number and told me she would contact me if she hears of an opening at a good daycare in the area. She also told me to call her back when I find a facility so that she can verify that it’s a safe facility. I asked her why she was being so helpful. She informed me that she wants the best for every child out there whether they are her clients or not. What an awesome person!

As a first time parent, the idea of leaving my baby at day care SCARED me. I visited a few and was not impressed, until I met Sara and her Mom. They were so friendly and I felt comfortable right away. My husband and I are very happy with our decision. My son is SO happy here and he LOVES them. Sara and Shireen are wonderful people and care for the all of children with kindness and love, what more could a parent ask for?

As a first-​time mom I was new to the idea of daycare. It was difficult for me to find a place that I was comfortable leaving my six month old daughter for a majority of the day. As a child, I was cared for by a loving grandmother so in my search I was looking for a place that was warm and inviting. I was not having much luck until I was referred to Sara’s Daycare. My husband and I are so blessed to have found them. I was anticipating a long transition period since our daughter did not take kindly to strangers and would cry uncontrollably. We were all surprised by how easily she adapted to them. She actually goes to Sara and smiles! I think it was a harder transition on me honestly. Over the past month she has learned to sit up straight and loves their organic applesauce and pears! As another review mentioned, I also just sit and watch how she interacts with the other babies and Sara. Sara’s daycare truly knows how to make a parent feel secure that their children are well cared for!

Although I don’t have children of my own, my niece has been going to this location for a month. My sister is a physician so she barely has time to watch her daughter. My sister is the pickiest person in the planet and for her to give complete trust to someone else other than family says a lot about this daycare. I am so amazed by the quality of care they provide– such as organic food for the kids and music activities. Sara the owner of the daycare is so caring and gives so much love to the children!

My daughter has been nurtured by Sara and Shireen for a few months and she is completely in love with them. Just like any other child used to being only with her parents, she had to transition at first, and now it’s amazing how we get only smiles. She is now 7 months old and Sara has taught her so many things, inlcuding how to say «bye». We are delighted with the developments milestones she has reached with Sara and could not be happier. It really shows how they care for the babies just like they would their own, and I know my daughter feels like it’s her second home.

My little boy has been attending Sara’s day care since he was about 3 months old; he is 6 months old now. He had been used to being only with his dad and myself so I thought he would have a difficult transition but he loved it there. We had some tears but he felt right at home by the second day. They are so loving at Sara’s day care and treat my son as if he is their own. They are very good about caring for my son in the same manner as I would at home with his routine and eating. Besides his formula, they feed him only fresh home made food items which I love. I sometimes just sit and watch my little one play when I pick him up to see how he interacts with them and he always has a smile on his face. It was a wonderful decision to take my son to Sara’s day care.
