Scott is a really great Real Estate Agent as well as Mortgage Broker! We ended up going with him for both when we were looking to buy a condo here in Studio City. As a Real Estate Agent Scott is fantastic. Very knowledgeable of the area and has an unbelievably flexible schedule to look at places whenever’s convenient for us. What’s great is that he didn’t just feed us condo after condo in our price range. Let’s be honest, there are some places that are priced high that are straight up garbage. Scott was able to hone in on what we were looking for and cater the real estate listings to condos that we would like. Not only that, what’s more important, is that Scott responded to e-​mails incredibly fast. If you’re looking for a home in LA you know that the GOOD places get taken very quickly, so this quick communication is incredibly important.
As a mortgage broker Scott is great. It’s convenient to have both services in one guy. As first time home buyers, the mortgage process was very frustrating. However, that frustration was mainly on the bank’s end of things and was pretty much out of the control of Scott’s.
All in all, if you’re looking for a place in LA, especially in the North Hollywood/​Burbank/​Studio City area, go with Scott. He really seems to care about finding a place that’s right for you and not just chasing a commission. Happy house hunting!

Five stars: sometimes they are given too freely, perhaps to reflect genuine effort, but not truly earned. For Scott Morris, five stars were definitely earned. Scott is an expert in his field; he knows his business and understands the nuances. He is the consummate professional. Yet not once during our loan real estate and loan process did Scott make my wife and I feel as if our opinions were not valid or were worthy of less consideration merely because we were not the real estate or loan professionals. I would wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend Scott; he is trustworthy, honest, hard working, and worthy of every star we (and others) have given him.

Scott Morris is one of the most honest, reliable, and enjoyable people with whom I have ever had the pleasure of working. He has both helped us with mortgage loans as well as represented us on the purchase of a home. I can’t say enough about how happy we were with the service we received and still receive from Scott Morris and Von Der Ahe Mortgage. Scott made us feel like he really cared about what we were going through in trying to buy a home. We never felt like he was just in it for the money, a feeling we have experienced over and over with other brokers. His attention to detail in the early stages of the process gave us confidence that everything would work out all the way through escrow. This is very unlike a lot of other brokers who promise the moon just to get you in and then it all blows up at the end leaving you very disappointed, something we experienced with other brokers. It’s nice to deal with a true honest professions these days.

I can’t recommend Scott enough. Not only was he able to get us a great loan, but, when the rates went down after we were locked in, he redid the paperwork so we were able to get an even better rate. He didn’t have to do this and we never would have known the difference, but he went above and beyond what we had expected. Scott even came by and picked up my paperwork when I wasn’t able to get it to his office in time! I recommended him to both my sister and my neighbor who were very pleased. My neighbor even used Scott on a subsequent purchase.

I have referred several clients to Scott Morris over the years. He is a man of integrity and will tell you the truth about loans, not what he thinks you want to hear. Straight-​forward, knowledgeable, and ethical.
